The Captain's Boil
Indescribably dissatisfied. Their “1LB” of shrimp included the head, which is not included in photos or the description, and their shrimp is not clean. The black intestine was still in every single one of the shrimp when i de-headed them. Did not include gloves, so my hands were stained. Horrific experience. Will not be back, and will not recommend.

We had one person's order take much longer than everyone, understandable as they were training new kitchen staff. Still, for the price the portions aren't big and the food is average at best. Better seafood places out there

Yet another adventure amidst Vancouver’s culinary scene! If you are craving seafood , and don’t mind getting your hands dirty (pun not intended) head to this place. There were three of us and we had ordered the Pirate’ s Feast and we needed to-go containers! You can have mussels, lobsters, and crabs cooked in a sauce of your choice. There are three available. The Captain’ s Boil sauce turned out to be a favorite and went very well with mussels. The potatoes served as sides were buttery and hearty. Making your way through that big platter can be daunting but you get aprons, scissors, claw crackers, and gloves to help you out. Themed interiors and staff who would always check if we had everything we needed , give this place a special atmosphere.

Went there with my family and we were impressed. Staff was friendly and food was good. We were seated right away and waitress helped us with the menu. She answered our questions and familiarized us with their menu and the way they cook. We ordered Pirate's feast with a lobster. Food came in bags, one bag of mussels, one bag of clams and the lobster, We got paper bibs, gloves and scissors to use. It was messy but the food was very tasty and we enjoyed it.

So I have to say that the food was great!! I ordered King Crab and my fiancé had Lobster, but the only reason I had King Crab was because I asked before if I could have half a Lb ( 1 Lb was $89), and the waitress said yes, but at the end when the bill arrived, they charged me full! another waitress told me they don’t serve half Lb and I said the other waitress said yes, then they talked between them and instead of apologizing or trying to find another solution, the first waitress said that yes they don’t serve half, but why would she said yes in the first place? But anyways, we paid full but this “small” mistake was very expensive, just have better customer service! If she would have accepted her mistake and maybe even apologized we could’ve understand but acting like the way she did, was not ok.

I ordered the mix and match through Uber Eats and what I received was SPOILED SEAFOOD. I have never seen a restaurant serving spoiled food like this and still think that this is acceptable for customers consumption. This is disgusting and their kitchen and management clearly needs to step up if they still care about their business. Awaiting a response and explanation on this food safety issue.

Their shrimps are mini and very hard to peel. The sauce is extremely buttery and flavorless. Also they don't give you no bucket for trash so I ended up putting shells and trash on the table.

It was really delicious but the lobster was a bit burnt but still good we had the luxury for 2 it was very excellent but the atmosphere was really loud but that would be typical for a Saturday night definitely would Recommend

The Captain's Boil
Went on a Wednesday night and it was very quiet. I had the prawn and mussels as my main, and it was very good. I also ordered a side of fried rice and it was very tasty. The standard sides are not that great but they seem to come with whatever you order. The music being played was really sad country about heartbreak. Not sure what clientele they are playing it for on a Wednesday night.
