George Massey Tunnel Bike Shuttle (free shuttle for cyclists)

IT IS NOW AT THE DELTA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE/VISITOR CENTER. Pickup/drop off location had moved and they never updated it meaning I missed the shuttle while trying to find the new location. Hopefully my update to google maps goes through and the location gets updated

While I’ve heard that some of the drivers can be rude I’ve only had good experiences with them. I’ve been helped getting my bike on the trailer and been given extra directions. It’s an adequate enough service to get you from one side of the tunnel to the other.

Shows up consistently and work well. Sometimes the shuttle leaves a minute or two ahead of schedule. I'd recommend being early.

Amazing service! Great way to cross tunnel till the new tunnel is built.

Decent option if you don’t want to take the bus. More frequent trips needed in the summer.

Good service for bikers to transfer within the tunnel... I wish the service was more frequent or even more efficiently to be booked online

To confirm a recent post: The northbound pick up is at the Delta visitor centre. According to the driver, “Yeah, we’re supposed to stop over there but it’s dangerous I would rather stop here. Also you can use the washroom…” There are no signs that it is a pick up point at the visitor centre .

Nice free shuttle with friendly driver. Difficult to find pickup spot for Northbound traffic as there is construction on the corner but there is a big sign. Lots of traffic during rush hour.

The bus driver showed up a few minutes late. I had called the 24 hour number on the sign and she said she had no way to contact the driver. For the northbound side in Delta, he said he waits at the Delta Visitor center on the corner. And in the future I can go there since it’s quieter. Hope that helps someone!

This is an essential service for cyclists needing to cross the river. There is an area on the south side for loading and unloading of bikes but the drivers don't use this area for whatever reason. Instead they stop half a block to the east. Maybe they should move the sign and bench or at least honk their horn to tell you where they are. Also they should have some sort of phone there so you can request the shuttle when it is on the other side instead of waiting 1 to 2 hours. The drivers drive for 10 minutes every hour and sit for the rest of the time. A better service could be offered. Some drivers are also rude and helpful. 5 stars for the needed service but 1 star for actual service.
