UP Express Bloor Station
Very poor service, no app anymore and you only can use your ticket inside 48 hours after buying it .. I invite everyone to use other transportation… it’s very sad we had payed for it on our taxes as residents of Toronto and they treat us like second class citizens

UP Express Bloor Station
I met a friend who came from the Pearson airport at the Bloor station. Considering it has been around for a couple of years, it is still amazingly clean and waiting on the ramp I had a wonderfully cool breeze as I sat in the shade waiting for their train to arrive. Not sure if I would feel as positive if they were visiting in December.

UP Express Bloor Station
The entrance from Bloor Street isn’t easily visible. The background of the sign is a dark colour which blends in with the wall and bridge. The start time is a little late for early morning trains. The first train is around 5:30am.There are comfortable indoor waiting areas on the platform. The station isn’t heated so be advised to dress for the weather.Multiple screens along the platform help keep passengers aware of the train times. It’s helpful as travelling to the airport can be stressful.

UP Express Bloor Station
Super hard to navigate through. I saw the up express train left on another platform and I suppose to have enough time. First time went there and lost. After asked several people I found the right platform. Not a good experience.

UP Express Bloor Station
It's a weird approach to this location but once inside it's a typical Go /Up Express connection yet clean and easy to navigate.Platform areas very tidy with both stairs and elevator easy access.

Hate + Violence = TerrorI regret to find myself in a situation where I am compelled to express a negative review. It deeply troubles me to be forced into a position where I must defend myself against bullying, racism, and hate. Being black shouldn’t be a problem , and UP employees must be educated about that.During my visit to Union Station, I unfortunately encountered an instance of racial-based mistreatment by the UP staff. It is disheartening to experience such treatment, particularly in a country like Canada. One of the greatest things about this country is its welcoming immigration policy. However, the sheer volume of new immigrants received every year must be accompanied by a humanized education system that specifically supports newcomers, especially those hailing from dogmatic, homogeneous and culturally dictating backgrounds. This system should aim to facilitate their integration into Canadian society by instilling values of love, tolerance, and acceptance. It is imperative that they undergo a process of re-education and full immersion into Canadian culture.”THEY MUST GOT CANADAFIED, because being Canadian is far more than just speaking fluent English and having a powerful passport. If this issue remains unaddressed, the consequences will become increasingly apparent within the next two decades or so. A divided Canadian society along racial lines will become a stark reality, eroding the very values that Canada has long been admired for. We must take action today to ensure that this potential future is not realized, and that Canada's reputation as a beacon of inclusivity and acceptance endures.

UP Express Bloor Station
Easy to use ticket machines. They have a elevator for the infirm or if you have heavy luggage but only going up. There is a lift you can use also though. Its relatively clean and not to much graffiti.

Best way to get to and from the Pearson airport. Wheelchairs are available at both ends. They also help pushing it for you. You can call a day in advance to have it pre-booked in order to avoid any hassle. The helpline no. for accessibility needs is on their website. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Ticket machines are very easy to use. Signs are very clear at both stations.

UP Express Bloor Station
Here’s what you have to do:Enter the station from the north side of Bloor street, to the east of Dundas, or, walk around the FreshCo grocery store to the rear where you’ll find the entrance to the station in the corner of the parking lot. You’ll walk past a lot of chain link fence, and there’s some signage once you’re back there. I suggest entering off Bloor. It’s less confusing to get to the UP platform that way.The UP Express to Pearson airport or Union station (ie downtown) departs from platform 1 or 2. Don’t be confused by the green and white GoTrain that goes to different parts of the GTA. The UP express is a light brown and brown train. Usually only two cars long.Refill your Presto Card at the brown and orange ticket machines or the green presto machines. Or buy a one way ticket. It’s about $6.50 to go to the airport from this station. If you’re using a presto card tap it one of the green and teal kiosks. They’re about waist high and have rounded edges. You’ll have to tap off at one of those kiosks once you’re st your destination.I wanted to write this because none of that is explained once you’re at the station, and it’s a cavernous concrete square inside with little to no employees around to help confused travellers. They really need to work on the entrances into this station, or at least the signage that leads you to the station. One is under the underpass on the north side of bloor (and only accessible on the north side of bloor) and the other is at the back of a grocery store parking lot that has very little to no signage? You wouldn’t be able to find it if you didn’t know where you were going, and god help you if you’re trying to catch a train on time. The amount of times I’ve heard people in a panic in the underground part of the station asking “how do I get to the UP train??”. At least once per time I’m at this station. And catching the UP is the main function of this train station. It really shouldn’t be that hard. There are train stations in Europe that have covered walkways from station to station (this one is within walking distance from the Dundas West subway station, but you’d never know it if you were walking by) that lead pedestrians and travellers from one place to another making their journey intuitive. There’s nothing intuitive about this place, and don’t get me started on the way the presto pass payment is designed.
