I purchased the Porter collection (bedroom suite) plus mattress and king size bed with drawers etc. In brown. This was a few years ago, from this location. Excellent price we were and are quite happy. Actually we had purchased a slightly cheaper model at the time, After paying and booking delivery something went wrong with the product provider so Sleepers upgraded us to the Porter collection for the same price. (They ate a few hundred dollars at the time).Because we had opted for the king we couldn’t fit two nightstands.We moved away, and purchased a larger home and can now fit the other nightstand. So I start looking. The Porter set is sold also by Ashly and is therefore in many furniture stores. Set price $500 for a nightstand. I thought that was a bit much but when I called these various locations including Ashly, for price, they explained it had increased in value.So I call Sleepers where I originally got the set and they are selling the nightstand for $300. I ask about what I had been told by the furniture salespeople, about the “increased value” and turns out it was the opposite. The wood is imported from Vietnam, (Set designed and built in Canada) and the 5% tariff between countries is no longer applicable. Therefore the price went down 5% to them and was passed on in their pricing. So four other companies lied to me and asked a higher price then I paid three years ago. Then lied again and told me a bedroom suite increased in value. But not Sleepers. They come across pretty basic from the exterior and location but the value and price on wood furniture is better than anywhere else I’ve been. The same furniture is sold at many higher end furniture stores without the ridiculous mark up. It’s a bit of a trip for me now, but I’ll go back. I can’t make big purchases thinking I am getting cheated out of hundreds of dollars on mark ups. Thanks for listening, hope this helps

Amazing prices, awesome quality furniture, and these people care about what they are selling. The sales associates are not pushy and allow you to enjoy the store with zero pressures to buy! I'll be going back!

This place is fantastic. We were looking for two dressers that had to be a specific width to fit in our master bedroom and nothing “stock” seemed to work.Our friend purchased a bedroom set from The Furniture Centre and said they specialized in custom furniture.We went to the store and were immediately greeted by an employee who was friendly and let us know right away there was no pressure as it was a commission-free environment.We took our time to browse the store and then spoke with Brian about ordering custom dressers. Brian was able to get us dressers in the exact dimensions we needed for our room and we were able to pick the number of drawers and what hardware we wanted. He even let us take home two drawers from floor models as colour samples so we could see what the colour looked like in our room!We ended up going with the “grey” colour and within two weeks we got our new dressers and couldn’t be happier. The quality is fantastic. It’s real wood unlike a lot of other places.Delivery was fast and simple, and everything came assembled. The price was also great and we got the set for less compared to similar models we saw in the other stores like The Brick and Leon’s.If you’re browsing Leon’s, The Brick, and other stores and not feeling it, this is your sign to come check this place out!Thanks again guys

When I decided to move out of my studio apartment to be closer to my job, The Furniture Center was recommended by my new landlords and a coworker.Nov 2021 took a trip out to this nondescript warehouse to look at a new couch and bedframe.The salesperson was super helpful and patient as I spent a fair amount of time looking around and asking questions, was about to spend more than I had before on new furniture and wanted to make informed decisions. Have an excellent showroom with tons of options for the couch and I had already scoped out the frame I wanted on their website.Arranged the delivery of everything and they advised that the couch would likely come later but wouldn't charge me a separate delivery fee (I needed the new items in the new suite before I moved everything else in) Right on!Amazingly, everything came at the same time, the couch probably 2 weeks early? I also ended up buying a dresser on a 2nd visit, was so impressed with the price & quality of their products, that was delivered with everything else.But this review is about my next experience with them.I noticed the bedframe was fairly creaky and just lived with it. For over a year. Noticed that the feet supports would slide out of alignment and cause shifting as well. But after one of my kittens jumped on the bed and such a loud creak came out, enough was enough. Took another trip out, nearly 15 months later... Walking in and just saying I need help!"Immediately had a couple of people trying to figure out what it could be and some options to resolve and knowing it was out of warranty (being over a year and all) I wasn't expecting anything for free.Gave me some options to try and took my info for the sales manager. Amazing customer service. Quality products. Canadian made. We bought a sectional sofa bed, good choice of fabrics, really comfy memory foam couch.

We bought a dining room set and a sideboard here after checking many furniture stores. This was the best quality for the price and easy pleasant experience for buying; no pressure.

I would like to acknowledge the great service provided by Mike and his team. We got a L shaped sofa back in Feb 2021 and had some issues after warranty which was one year long. I was really worried about the fix but Mike and his team went above and beyond to help us fix the issue with sofa.. highly recommend them and wish them all the very bestGreat work and thanks for all the support

I can't say enough about this store. The staff are awesome, and truly care about what you're looking for. We had a small issue with a lift chair we purchased, and they were there to fix it the following day, and it's all good. I love our new couches, rugs, etc. I'll be doing all of my furniture/home decor shopping here from now on. Great work guys!!

Received our special ordered sofa today and really love how firm is it! They have great price and service here, most products in stock and special order only took a few weeks. Compare with 3-6 month waiting time for a kids bed from Ashley, this is a much better place for our home furnitures.
