OK, this seamstress is the absolute best. I took my wedding gown in to be altered and found out it has seven complex layers, and a hem would be quite costly. Instead of just going forward with the hem, Deborah suggested I try a higher shoe instead. So the trip cost me nothing and instead I got great advice. The second time I went in to get a bustle put on my gown, Deborah helped discover that my dress had a built in bustle! It needed to be raised, and two added on the sides and she was so helpful and knowledgeable.If you need your dress altered, go here. This is someone who values customer satisfaction over making money and it shows.

Very poor service. The alternation charge was very reasonableness. She pressured me by saying that today was the cut off for the day I needed the dress back. Very unprofessional!

Pleasant and prompt service.I have had everything from jeans, to jackets to sweaters to my leather vest.If it needs to be altered or sewn on this is the place to come.Most times She says a date and time for it to be ready, 75% of the time it ends up being the same day or early on the next day.Highly recommended.

Watch what you say or she’ll double the price!! During measurements I was told the price would be $80 to hem my dress and another $80 to take in the waist. I accidentally made conversation and said I would wear the dress twice and wasn’t too concerned about the price. Then 5 min later at the counter she changed her mind and said “actually the cost will be $264.5” for no reason. When I tried to say this contradicted what I was told and was unfair the owner told me not many tailors are doing dress alterations these days and I was lucky I got to wear the dress twice. These are not good reasons to greatly overcharge customers. Would not expect such dishonest, predatory practices from a small business. Strongly recommend taking your alterations elsewhere. Most disappointing experience I’ve had in years.

Prime example of needing to shop around. Went here for an alteration on a bridesmaid dress. The other bridemaid's went to another tailor and I paid DOUBLE for the same thing at The lady tailor. Never again.
