European baking at its finest! Fresh and delicious baked products. The bagels are authentic and so good. Everything is baked in house from scratch. Large baked soft pretzels too, just like in Germany. Highly recommend this bakery.

Everything is so delicious, and so fresh. It's hard to stop eating!The bagels are chewy and soft and freeze very well.Once you try their croissant you can never eat another croissant from anywhere else, and enjoy it. Nothing compares... the best croissant I've ever had in my life. Honestly.Great bread. Friendly staff. Local and 'not-so-local' weekly delivery. Best crosissant ever.

I cannot say enough about Mickael's Bakery. The Croissants take you away to the quint little bakeries I assume you'd find in France. With a wee shot of expresso in hand and the the romance in the air. Here in Lindsay, Ontario Mickael's Bakery hands down has the best loaves, baguettes and the pretzel bagels are my family's favorite. We top them with fresh avocado, lettuce and tomato creating a fresh, crisp, soft sandwich that makes your taste buds dance! Plus, since the pandemic we receive baked goods delivered right to our door with charm and love. I couldn't image a week without the help from Mickael's bakery! Thank you for creating this delicious experience in Kawartha Lakes!

Well, this was truly a lovely surprise. I made a lasagna with home made pasta and sauce that was LEGENDARY to take to a friend's place for the weekend. Stopped off at Mickael's en route there for fresh bread. Wow, what a cute little bakery that is PACKED with lots of nice looking treats and racks & racks of bread products! The baguette with roasted garlic & cheese from Mickael's Bakery was the best accompaniment to my lasagna! Also picked up a plain baguette and an assortment of bagels. And, in true April fashion, I picked up a pretzel for the road. So goooood. Need to go back again to check out the cookie & scone collection!! The staff were super sweet and didn't make me feel rushed in my decisions. Definitely a hidden gem beside my favourite Lindsay restaurant, Symposium! Well done, gang, well done!! See you soon!

All I can say is that everything we have tried so far is excellent. As is the staff. However, where has olive bread been all my life. The texture, flavour and fragrance is out of this world. Now that I am thinking about the olive bread I have to go to the kitchen and have some. I made us a Greek salad last night with lots of feta, tomatoes and olives. The salad complimented the bread which was the star of the show.Tonight is their baquette to use to sop up the garlicky sauce for the shrimp and scallops.

Bakery with a small store front. Variety of breads, buns, pretzels, cookies. Tried the carrot bread. Very light bread. Carrots are soft. Tried the pretzel as well. Nice flavor. Nice staff. Took the time to explain what everything was.

My first love from this bakery is the Norwegian loaf. It is solid and satisfying.. But lately I have added croissants. They are possibly the best this side of France.. Before Mickael’s Cafe Librairie opened, I was baking my own bread.. now I seldom bake.. I haven’t tried every item, but other favourites are the bagels and pretzels.

So lucky to have a real French bakery in Lindsay. Try the corn loaf for something truly different (not corn bread). Love the cookies and crème brûlée!
