Loved this place! Our waitress Dianna was great and truly made our holiday. We had lunch there when we arrived, went back for dinner a few nights later and she served us both times. Had the mussels and the fish and chips and both were delish! Thank-you Dianna!!!

awfully long service, unseasoned fish n chips, watery sauced pasta with absolutely no seasoning whatsoever (basically muscle pasta water yuck) and muscles were not properly cleaned for consumption (beards not removed). do not recommend no matter how hungry you may be - disappointing. servers were flustered & could not handle a lunch rush. the chef seriously needs to taste his/her/their food before serving.

It’s a very beautiful place! Had fish and chips & fish tacos! Good amount of food but the our fish didn’t have any seasoning. Mussels linguine was cooked perfectly but the cream sauce tasted somewhat like clam chowder soup which was fine but unique. Great happy hour deals and quick service. Will be back again to try other menu!

This restaurant is hands down the worst I've ever experienced when it comes to customer service. The waitstaff was incredibly rude and showed clear signs of discrimination against people with different accents.My friend and I went to this place with the simple intention of having some fries and beer. Since I have a fish allergy, we specifically chose this spot for their fries-only menu. However, the waiter didn't seem pleased with our order and left our table before we could even finish our sentence.To make matters worse, our order took forever to arrive, and they didn't bother providing us with basic utensils, napkins, or even a glass of water. I had to resort to using my own tissues and water bottle.When we tried to place a second order, despite the place not being crowded at all, we struggled for a good 20 minutes to get the waiter's attention. It was frustrating, to say the least.And then came the cherry on top: when the bill was brought to our table, the waiter simply tossed it down without us asking for it. Given the terrible service we received, we decided not to leave a tip. But instead of understanding our dissatisfaction, the waiter had the audacity to mockingly criticize us for not leaving a tip. We were scolded for our choice.As we were leaving, we overheard the waiter complaining about us to the manager. It was a stark contrast to the warm and welcoming atmosphere we encountered in other places on the island.I'm left wondering why they expect a tip for such undeserving service. We consider it nothing short of theft. It could have been a different story if they had shown a genuine smile, provided decent service, delivered our orders in a timely manner, and refrained from presumptuously presenting the bill. That's how they could have earned a tip.

This is a special little oasis after a long day of sailing. We spent out last night before returning to Vancouver with sailing friends here. It was a great place to celebrate a week of sailing adventures. The view of the marina and gardens from the patio was beautiful. I had the halibut which was fantastic. We also enjoyed sharing delicious desserts including key lime pie and tiramisu. Yum!!

Local hangout, great service, great people. Had a birthday event there and way too many sambucas, but people joined in and had a blast. My lit up shoes, lit up even more during that evening. No food, but good cake! Thanks bartender and staff...much appreciated!

Located near the ferry terminal, Doc Morgan's is a popular pub on Bowen. One of the reasons is probably due to the nice views of the marina area.We happened to come here on the same day the Prime Minister decided to visit. Needless to say, it was busy and we had to wait to get a table as they were busy with his entourage. But they took our number and called us as soon as a table opened up.We managed to get a seat on the patio and had a view of the PM sitting inside.The good here was pretty good. Tried the Halibut and Chips. The fries were addictive. Also tried the Beef Dip. Although messy with the horseradish sauce, it was very tasty.

The ambiance of this place is great on a sunny day, and its conveniently close to the ferry terminal. However, I feel the quality of the food and price don’t match up. I felt this place is definitely made for tourists .Chicken wings was okay. Ceviche could’ve been done better and I believe our meal with an added beer was around $40. I’d come here solely for convenience because they open later than most places on the island and have a good ambiance to relax in prior to boarding the ferry.
