Love it!! What a great addition to Bayfield! The menu offers so many different options while not being overwhelming. Our server was knowledgeable and fun and the space itself is fabulous! We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Bayfield Landing!

The home-made burger is very flavorful and filling. Good portion size. The hand cut french fries are the best I’ve ever had. The chicken dish is stupendous with the Irish mashed potatoes. Great patio vibes from all 3 patois. Music, food, and staff are top notch. You can sit on the front patios and enjoy the scenery.I would highly recommend this place for drinks, eating, or get togethers.

If you want to stay somewhere that has a fantastic host and owner, then this is the place. Tyler made us feel immediately welcome and continued to provide exceptional service (way above and beyond anywhere else I have stayed recently). The entire staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the rooms were spotless. This is not a large chain hotel experience, but rather a boutique Inn with charm and personality. We loved it so much, we have rebooked.

We haven’t been here since it was the Red Pump, so it was nice to see the front patio utilized. By far, this restaurant has the best patios in Bayfield. We sat for the afternoon yesterday people watching while we enjoyed our lunch and wine. They also have a back patio which is beautiful but it was sunnier at the front. Our muffuletta sandwich and pickerel were spot on. The only thing missing was some music as we could overhear other guest’s conversations. I’m sure that will come. Will definitely be back.

Great to visit a Huron County restaurant which does not feel like a roadhouse. Decor pared down but reminds me of Vermont. Wonderful soup. Imaginative salad presentation. Delicious trout. Best pecan pie ever. We will return.

I enjoyed the most wonderful experience this afternoon on the patio, with a couple of Stone House Lagers, stellar service, and a splendid and welcoming culture.I highly recommend 1851 Bayfield Landong, and I will definitely return.(Maybe tonight!!)

The food and service was AMAZING!While the menu doesn't offer pages of selection, it's does offer a number of dishes that are fresh and flavourful....even the crackers and bread are made in-house!It's refreshing to step into a restaurant that offers dishes that you would find at a fine dining restaurant at a reasonable price point.If you want to skip the Pub Grub" and fill your belly with delicious goodness

Wonderful patio out back. Beautiful, flavourful food and friendly staff. Went for lunch menu and had a charcuterie board for 2 and shared ceasar. Perfect. 3rd time there and would highly recommend.

First time here since the change in ownership.I was sadly very unimpressed with the food, however our server Grace was very attentive and friendly.I ordered the Caesar salad and 2 of the scallops in a half shell.First, the $18.50 Caesar salad was an appetizer size. That's fine, I understand pricing has increased over the years, for $18.50 I was confident it would be delicious. I was so wrong. It was almost as though the lettuce was washed but not properly dried, resulting in watered down tasteless dressing.Onto the scallops, which are described to be served with browned butter and crispy chicken skins, was served ice cold. It really threw me off. I asked our server if it was meant to be cold and she said yes. So I won't say this was awful, it was just a bit off-putting. I'd suggest they list the item as a cold dish on the menu.All in all, it was an expensive meal that really really disappointed.I don't believe we will be returning.
