Great place to talk with friends while grabbing a few bites. The atmosphere is lively and food comes out really fast. However the portions of each dish is unpredictable. We got 3 dishes to share, okonomiyaki which was plentiful but the flavor was heavy overpowered by the bonito flakes, pork dumplings (5 pieces and standard flavor), and this corn curry dish that had the best taste out of all of our dishes but only had two sad small piecesPieces for over $10. It did not justify the price.

We sat at the bar because there was no other open spot. However, sitting at the bar was quite lovely. The service was provided by the bartender. It was fun seeing the drink be made in front of us. The service was also really fast. The food was so good and the presentation was excellent. It was so hard to pick which one I liked best. I would definitely eat the Moshibekon yakitori (rice cakes covered in bacon on skewers) again. The atmosphere was also pretty relaxed and the decor was interesting. I am definitely coming back here. Next time, I'd place a reservation to sit in their terrasse.

The best. I like to order many entrées, sit at the bar and hangout with my friends. Definitely a nice place for a date as well. The place isn't fancy but it's always busy and has a nice vibe. The bartender is open to make you drinks they don't have on their drink menu. The food is just amazing and tasty.

Absolutely loved the tuna poke bowl and ended up getting three! Other dishes were absolutely great as well!

We popped in on a relatively slow night and had the best service on their back patio. Everything was well prepared and presented and the portions were perfect for sharing. Notable dishes were the pork ribs, the smoked tofu and chicken karaage (we had both the spicy and plain).

Personally speaking, we are mostly paying for the venue rather than the foods. The foods are ok, some ‘raw’ dishes are good, while some are too salty. The potion is extremely small!

Wow, the karaage chicken was incredible. There must’ve been an egg yolk or something in the rice, so creamy and the sauce is delicious. The raw salmon with rice and seaweed wrap was also a highlight. Excellent service.constructive feedback I would say is the beef in the Gyudon is not soft. It is hard and chewy, seems overcooked. Menu could benefit from a veg or sashimi salad option.Overall really great!

Not recommended for groups - read on for why.We were a group of 14 people and due to the size, we all had to take the group menu. Normally this is completely normal, but there was 0 choice in the menu and dishes were shared between groups of 4 - this wouldn't be an issue if these were big plates, but they all had measly amounts of food, including one that were only 4 small pieces of fish. Everyone in the group I asked was still hungry after the 2 hour meal. Certain dishes were also skipped for certain sections of the table for some reason, but still charged. To make things worse, I requested to order from the normal menu to actually have something decent to eat, but the server refused saying it would be too complicated - I even suggested just charging me a separate bill, as if I was alone, and still no go. I would have easily spent $100 or more to satisfy our hunger, but I guess the restaurant had higher priorities. For some reason, the entire cocktail menu was also unavailable - was this also because it would be too complicated"?The last kicker? Not enough chopsticks as well.Whatever the case may be

This restaurant is worth all the stars it has! Believe the reviews. It was amazing the terrace is perfect. The staff was friendly and fast. Our food came quickly and it was fresh. It was a great time I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a gem of a restaurant in Montreal.

5 star for the service, 1 star for foodI’m sorry to say this but the Tataki tasted so bad I almost puked out. Returned it instantly. Ramen and fried chicken is just at the edge of edible. But service is fast and friendly.
