Love this studio! Some of the best ballet classes in town!

I took an elementary class with Tomoe on Wednesday and I had such a great time:(1) The exercises were challenging but always targeted towards lengthening, strengthening and improving our technique(2) The teaching style was patient and kind towards the students(3) The energy in the room was so positive it MADE me want to improveOverall, I’m really glad I decided to drop in before going back to Montreal. If I return to Toronto, I’ll definitely be heading back to DanceTeq.The studio itself is in an old church which means the studio is spacious and very quaint (in a cute way)! There is also a pianist in the class which really makes the class enjoyable and professional. You can pay by either cash or interac.

I love taking class at Dance Teq, and I hope they will open up for in-studio classes again soon.

Best place for dance! They offer many different levels of dance classes Either you are a professional trying to stay in shape or an amateur dancer there is a class for you.

Main focus is on ballet, but there are other short workshops as you can choose tango, African dance , adult ballet, ext... I like the big window studio and the wood floor. Enjoy the class so much!

This is truly a one of a kind dance studio experience. A serious focus on Pre-Professional and Elementary ballet training, but also goes well into the night with karate, yoga, hip hop, and all other movement classes. As a professional photographer, dance filmmaker, ballet accompanist, and musician - I have collaborated and worked with the owner, Jeremy Nasmith on several occasions and he is an artist and teacher of the highest esteem. I am excited for DanceTeq's future in the heart of downtown Toronto under his leadership and passion.

Been going here for almost a decade. Excellent instructors and an all-around inviting and wonderful atmosphere for beginners and experts.
