I visited this place for brunch twice during my short trip in Montreal. Literally fair price, good portions, rich Benedicts with variety of fruits. Staffs are very friendly. I will certainly visit L’Évidence again:)

Came here for Sunday breakfast. The menu selection was well-varied, lots of options to choose from. The food was tasty and satisfying. The service was friendly and proactive in offering suggestions to complement menu choices. The best part of this place was the great music they have playing, it added a very nice vibe to an otherwise more or less typical breakfast experience. Will be back here.UPDATE 4/27/2019: Came back, and the service was rude and rushed at the door and the food sub-standard. I will not be coming back.

The location, specially the patio was great. Service is good. The food is very good. Was it amazing/memorable? no. but very good nonetheless. Special mention to the fries and the sausages though, those were amazing. Would I recommend? yeah, I would.

I really enjoyed my eggs benedict. The presentation, quality and flavour of the food was amazing. The staff were very nice and helpful. I also had their tea that comes with the dish and it was quite nice although I am not usually a fan of tea. I would definitely recommend this place and it is worth the wait if there is a queue.

Went here for dinner on a thursday as it wasn't terribly busy. Reviews looked good.The service was amazing and the workers were very friendly and attentive.Our food wasn't the greatest...It took almost an hour to get outrmeals out to us. The server was super appologetic, we weren't really bothered. My boyfriend got the steak dinner that came with salad and dessert. He had a hard time eating the steak, it was rather tough and not a great cut. Our meals came out about 20 mins before close.We realized this place had great reviews for breakfast. So maybe come here for breakfast and not dinner.

I had a wonderful birthday dinner here with friends. The food is fantastic and the dancing was a lot of fun. This spot looks like it would be absolutely lovely for brunch too! Highly recommend!!

A very nice place with a great potential to become a staple venue in the area. Unfortunately our experience was a significant disappointment.THE PROS:- The receptionist was very polite and pleasant to communicate with. She found us a place to our liking in only a few moments, and made sure we're comfortable.- The menu is very appealing and opens up the appetite, with items on the menu that I haven't found in many terraces in the area.THE CONS:- The food we received was unfortunately not in line with the menu. A fruit bowl for 10$ had a piece of apple, two pieces of orange, a third of a banana, one strawberry and 6 grapes...- the coffee was sub par, especially in comparison to the coffee served on most terraces within the vicinity.- the fries were yesterday's fries reheated, dripping in oil and stale- one of our orders came missing half of the ingredients, and the eggs were watered down- the quantity of one of the orders was very little, not enough to spread on half of the bagel it came with.- the food took quite some time to come to the table given that the place wasn't crowded.It's unfortunate that such a nice place with lots of potential wouldn't have a better quality and quantity of food, especially that the prices are rather expensive for the offer.
