423 Rue Saint-Claude Parking

Extraordinarily rude - pulled up, was yelled at that there is no space as I drove past the kiosk (I was unaware there was someone there - usually it’s the automated machine). I said I would turn around if there aren’t any spots available and the man yelled: “there is none for you.”

Not sure why this place has such bad reviews, I’ve parked here several times and I’ve never had any issues. The location is great and 18$ flat rate. If you can’t afford that, park somewhere else and walk an hour to the old port.

Extremely rude. Please avoid at all cost. The location is convenient ,but it’s still worth it to park and walk to your destination. The employee was rude before we even spoke a word. He changed the price three different times while become increasingly irritated with us. Run very far away from this parking location.

Attendant is very rude and car had random marks on door when we got back after a few hours, they take your keys because they double park the cars...AVOID!

I wanted to to park for an hour and thought it would be $9 because the sign said $3 for each 20 minutes. The employee asked for $18 , so I said ok then I'll just park for 20 minutes but then he said $18 is the fixed rate.

Tried to park here today. Was unaware of how the parking worked and simply thought I could park myself. I was immediately berated by the same man I’m sure everyone else in these reviews is talking about - said I was “too impatient” and not allowed to park there anymore. I attempted to apologize and explain I only pulled forward as I didn’t understand, and he said, “No apologies. Get out of my parking lot.” Shooed and chided me like a parent to a child. This lot is run by an angry man on a power trip who hasn’t realized that his over exaggerated sense of importance doesn’t extend past a very small plot of land cars park on. Find anywhere else to park.

Do not park here they break into your car. Cops don’t care because there’s no cameras. Stay away from this parking lot the city should put signs that this place is dangerous. We were the second car damaged in a month. Zero ⭐️

I loved the ease of parking here. We came in from Philadelphia so I didn’t want to bother with difficult places to park. The attendant was great, and I loved that it was a flat rate for the day. We were literally right in the Old Port. We were staying in Longueuil so it was easy to get to from there as well.

I don’t know why this spot has poor rating but I had a good experience. It was a flat rate of $18 and you can park whole day.You can walk around to old port, streets and everything is just minutes away. I would definitely park here next time rather than going round and round to find a street parking stop.

DO NOT PARK HERE- the attendant has a horrible attitude and they are unnecessarily very strict on times but charge you a flat $18 rate and if you pay in USD they will not exchange your currency.
