Our beloved massage therapist did not return to this hotel after Covid-19. Their high tea is no longer available either. Sad.

2 Michelin stars at leastWe found Langdon Hall 20 years ago driving the area and stumbled upon it. In 20 years we have not been disappointed once. Even with staff changes both in the dining room as well as the kitchen the service and quality has always remained the same. The kitchen puts together flavours on each dish like no other. My wife and I have ran a restaurant for 27 years and been lucky enough to get to enjoy many great restaurants worldwide but always put Langdon as one of our favourites. Everything is always prepared and cooked correctly. Service and all staff make you feel at home and like family. We have also stayed at the hotel and used the spa both fantastic. Every time we go to Langdon we get the feeling like being away it make you unwind and the location and gardens relaxes you immediately. Thank you to management for making our small retirement party so special. We will always return no matter where our family ends up living . Keep up the great work.

One of the best hotels I have been to in the world. The food is to absolutely die for. And the service is far beyond anything you would expect for West of Toronto. Trust me!! It's worth the drive and book a massage, you will be in heaven. God bless everyone at Langdon Hall!

My husband and I went for a day spa experience.Tiny hot tub and a sauna room is what they called “amenities” and small lunch area next to hot tub is painted drywall with chipped corners. *their beautiful outdoor pool is for overnight guest only.What was even more disappointing was lunch. Very limited lunch menu (4 choices) to begin with.Scallop dish (ceviche-like) in strawberry foam we could not enjoy. Two scallops were cut into 4 pieces and on strawberry sauce. Very small portion to fill someone’s stomach but we couldn’t even finish it.Caesar salad with poached chicken came without chicken and when asked, the spa staff asks “are there chickens under the green by any chance?” She clearly had no clue what the salad should look like. I said no and she said she will bring a “replacement salad”.When I was finished with my Caesar salad (Caesar salad itself tasted good to be fair..)she brings me 4 pieces of cold poached chicken on a side plate. Ewww…Overall, I would give 2.5 stars because we liked massage treatments.We had way better experience at Elora Mills and St.Anne. Way better dining experience and nicer interiors. Definitely better amenities.I wouldn’t call this place a luxury destination though. Not going back.

I have been lucky enough to visit Langdon Hall multiple times and every time has been truly exceptional. From the moment you turn onto the picturesque driveway surrounded by the breathtaking Carolinian forest, you feel like you have stepped into a world of luxury and tranquility. The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is peaceful, making for a truly relaxing experience. The cuisine is top-notch and deserving of its Five-Diamond rating. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, with luxurious amenities like plush feather beds and down duvets. Some even have a charming sitting area complete with a wood-burning fireplace and antique furnishings. I have also had the pleasure of hosting events at Langdon Hall and the staff is always professional and accommodating. The architecture and grounds are stunning and the gardens are breathtaking. In conclusion, Langdon Hall is the ultimate destination for anyone seeking to recharge, rejuvenate, and reconnect with nature.

Truly an experience of a lifetime! Attentive and experienced staff, awesome menu and wonderful facility. Our bedroom had a king sized bed together with a wood burning fireplace looking out onto the garden area.All staff were attentive and always willing to offer a helping hand. The dining room staff were especially helpful and knowledgeable about all menu items....those in the kitchen area are to be thanked for preparing such a wonderful menu and presenting food in such a memorable and pleasing manner.Staff in the main lobby were awesome and provided a 'helping hand' which was so very much appreciated.Will look forward to another celebration with the wonderful folks at Langdon Hall very soon.Our sincere gratitude to all Langdon Hall personnel for making our time with you so memorable.Trish & Michael McRae

Absolutely amazing experience. The food is amazing worth every penny, and the scenery is breathtaking. The grounds crew should be extremely proud of what an amazing job there doing. Room was as clean as could be. My wife encountered the grounds staff and they were happy to answer all her questions and even let her tour the greenhouse. Staff were all extremely polite and professional. Will gladly comeback!

Upon arrival i was greeted as an old friend. With all the love and care I would hope for from coming home from a long trip. Our wine tasting with Steven was the most fun I have had in a long time. But what topped off my visit was when the chef remembered us and sent out a truffle soup that is no longer on the menu but has always been my favorite. It literally brought me to tears. I will return to this place for the rest of my life. The time and effort that the staff take to make me feel welcome and special has gone beyond anything that I have felt in any country I have visited. Bravo langdon hall. Bravo.

Highly recommended! Very kind and helpful staff. José was very clear and knowledgeable on his wine option to accompany our meals.Loved the detailed descriptions of each meal. It made the food so much more interesting to eat and identifying all the flavours mentioned.This was great mini-moon" for my wife and I. We'll for sure plan to come back during other seasons. Angel described winter at Langdon Hall and sounds magical to experience it."

The whole resort and dining room give off an old school vibe to it that goes well with the upscale food. The menu may seem traditional and unimaginative if you just look at the names. But the meal was quite the opposite. 9 times out of 10 the chicken is really just chicken and you shouldn’t get it at fancy restaurants. This is that 1 exception. The chicken dish was truly so inventive. The white meat, dark meat and bone were all cooked in a different form and were separated. And the croissant pudding almost like a savory bread pudding. Really was something I’ll remember. That dish alone is worthy of 5 stars.
