Very clean store with pleasant employees. Rarely wait in line and love their self checkout option.

Don't use their pharmacy. Just don't. Asked to have my prescriptions transferred (even stated that it didn't have to be on THAT day but my anti-convulsant meds were running low so I would need them in a few days). I explained I could never get a hold of my pharmacy which is why I wanted to switch my prescriptions over and he says if you can't get a hold of them what makes you think I can?". I would have happily walked into my pharmacy and asked to have them transferred EXCEPT the PHARMACY being transferred to has to do it and he says they are simply too busy to stay on hold with another pharmacy (AGAIN didn't say it had to be TODAY). So here I'm sitting with no way to even get my prescriptions transferred and a pharmacist who has no interest in helping me. Huge shout out to medicine shoppee on Grant who had **ZERO** problems helping me get my prescriptions transferred after hearing my story as a business should be willing to do. Big disgrace to Safeway Pharmacy. Big disgrace for ignoring my complaint as well."

Fyi The glazed croissants baked daily are the best baked good in the city..

Selection has dwindled in the last half a year. Prices are way more than Superstore, hot dog buns 4.49 at Safeway and 2.49 at Superstore

Great store to buy all groceries with good bakery items, the cakes and the slices they have are super amazing, I have tried most of them and they are all amazing. The best part is their staff is so helpful.

Holy sh!t is this what it's like to be a well to-do south ender? Being as my regular stores are downtown, I was literally shocked by how clean it is. The produce is so fresh. The baking is so lovely (in Safeway downtown's defense they also have great baking). But this one had these magical little raspberry tarts.The only downside was the meat section seemed small to me and I didn't pick much up there even though I was feeling carnivorous.I'm still giving five stars because of the cleanliness, the friendliness, and the overall experience just seemed elevated from any downtown grocery store, hands down. Call me crazy but the difference is notable.Yes, as other reviews claim it is very expensive. But all Safeways are expensive. I think they charge $50 just to breathe the air....A great grocery store for just after pay day ;)

Very clean and nice grocery store. The staff were friendly and helpful, the only store in town that get things for Passover! we’re able to find things I wouldn’t find in my go to grocery store . Big parking lot outside!

This review is mainly for the floral section of Safeway.Before I say anything, I think it is important for everyone to know that an overwhelming percentage of men never get flowers gifted to them when they are alive, however, they eventually get flowers when they pass away at their funerals.As you navigate through the holidays and special days in your daily lives, think of buying flowers for the males in your life.Safeway has been my go-to for everything flowers. I have bought all my flowers and plants from Safeways all over the city. The staff in Floral are very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.I have uploaded a lot of pictures just because selections are always changing, and these pictures were from two different weeks.

Amazing staff and service!I absolutely love the staff here! I am disabled and have a service dog and a service dog in training(service dog is near retirement and am working on getting the new one up to speed). they have always been inviting, courteous, and helpful. Tonight’s staff definitely had some of my favourite staff members who always make my shopping enjoyable. They have to be some of the hardest workers, and most polite cashiers I’ve come across.
