Good food, good taste, not happy with the portion. I’ve tried various tahini’s in golden horse areas, never got so less portion on a large bowl.

Tahini's Shawarma
This is our go to place for quick but really good food in town. We like to rotate through the menu. So far, my favourite is the Gyro shawarma rice bowl. Service is also fantastic! Always very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. Photos posted are the large chicken shawarma wrap, small messy fries and small habibi rice bowl.

Was in Sudbury for the weekend with my fiancé and googled a place to eat. The pictures looked like the place was decent and wow were we not let down! Ambiance was great and food was amazing! Great sauces and rice and meat! The staff was friendly and hospitable. My fiancé and I tried the box for 2 combo and we weren’t not disappointed. Portion was perfecto. Definitely 10/10 recommend

Delicious food; hearty portions for the price (my fiancée and I shared the meal box for two). Well worth it. Clean inside. We had looked at shawarma places in the area but this one's interior design and decor was the most appealing. Hope to come back next time I'm in the area and try some of their other fusion good :)The food did not come immediately but it came in a very reasonable amount of time.Friendly staff also contributed to a pleasant experience.

Dicksha and team did a great job on my last visit to the restaurant. She provided great customer service, amazing recommendations and provided service with a smile. I will definitely be coming back to this location again in the near future. Thank you Tahini team.

Got the Kafta Rice Bowl, had a couple bites, tasted plain, no flavour to the rice and it was too spicy for me so I went back to the restaurant and asked them “how much hot sauce did you put?” (I asked for medium and it was pretty much covered in hot sauce) They offered me a bowl with no hot sauce, so I said okay. After I left, my stomach started hurting (I thought it was because of the hot sauce). I gave it (new rice bowl they made) to my friend as my belly was not feeling well.The next day I asked my friend how was the food and he said he was in the washroom all night.The food was terrible, never going back again.

The food is absolutely fantastic! Wow! I don't normally like spicy food. But I LOVE this! And the staff are so friendly and helpful! I had the Kafta and it is soooo good! Highly recommend this restaurant!

New franchise location in Sudbury. Ordered lunch takeout on a Sunday. Service was friendly. The menu is big and has a lot of “fusion” type items (jerk chicken, butter chicken) alongside the shawarma plates/wraps). We ordered a falafel plate, kafta plate, and a chicken shawarma wrap. The rice dishes were awesome, and are loaded with fresh/pickled veggies and sauces (make sure to be clear on what you want). The wraps use a roti style bread instead of standard pita. They have the garlic sauce (toum) but it’s very mild. If you’re looking for classic Ottawa/Montreal shawarma wraps this is not it, but I don’t think they are trying to be. This place really shines with the rice bowl/plate dishes.

Awesome first visit. I had the butter chicken bowl- nice spice level and the side of fries were extra crunchy. My partner had the gyro wrap and it was thumbs up all around. Falafel was good, veggie samosas had a nice bite to them. Service was also very friendly. This might be average for some people, but good service and food with some great flavour and quality goes a long way. Will happily return in the future

We walked in the door and were cheerfully greeted by staff. The young lady taking our order was very helpful and knew each item on the menu and made some suggestions. The food was fresh and hot with options as to how spicy you would like it. It was served quickly and was very delicious. Good portions. The price was very competitive. We'll be repeat customers.
