Second Set of Hands

I live in a small loft-type apartment and like many people, I was holding on to way too much stuff, and having a hard time letting go of some it. In came Kathy and her team to provide some much needed assistance. The organizing session was perfect: stress-free, simple and very liberating all at the same time. Although parting with some items was more difficult, my place feels a bit lighter" now and that is exactly what I wanted. Kathy and her team were outstanding

In October 2017, after a number of months in my new condo, I still felt overwhelm with all the unpacking and organizing that I still had to do. I had moved from a 3 bedrooms townhouse with basement and garage to a less than 800 sq ft condo apartment. Despite donating a lot of stuff before the move, I still had too much stuff. I had no motivation and energy to do anything and even when I would find some, I would get discouraged and give up easily. I finally realised I needed help and decided to contact a professional organizer, and thank God I did. I contacted 2 companies and Second Set was one of the two. From the start, Kathy showed compassion and understanding. She was professional and adapted her schedule to meet my needs. 4h at a time, we tackled each area of condo, starting with my mountain of clothes to sorting through all of my paperwork, which is now tightly organized in labelled folders. Through the process, she helped me let go of certain things and showed me various options of what to do with my stuff. Kathy is very caring and she is a good listener. I recommend Kathy and her team to anyone who needs help with organizing, purging their belongings, packing and unpacking. Thank you Kathy ;-)

I was stuck, had too much stuff, and felt overwhelmed. I found Kathy and her team and did a quick cursory glance at reviews and decided to bite. BEST decision I've made in 2020! Thanks to Kathy and her team who were so gentle and kind they entire time they were here. Not once did I feel judged about the clutter or that I MUST to purge items. Your ladies were incredible workers and outdid my expectations. They were quiet, mannerly, and very nice. I do not have anything negative to say. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
