It is so sad that the government cannot find pleasant people in canada to work with public. The ladies you have obviously hate their jobs.

TIRED OF DEALING WITH YOU GUYS. COME UP WITH A SYSTEM AND STICK TO IT. QUIT CHANGING YOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EXACT SAME PERMIT APP AND INSPECTIONS EVERY DAY AND FIND A WAY TO BE ON THE SAME PAGE...I DONT THINK ITS TOO MUCH TROUBLE TO COME UP WITH A SOLID GAME PLAN FOR WHAT THE RULES AND REQUIREMENTS ARE. FIX THIS NOW.

Terrible customer service. Terrible plan review department. Don’t trust the guideline brochure they keep referring to. Some people just want to build a simple deck and we just want to get it done properly. Thats why we put in applications for permits. They just make it stressful and make your life a living hell. The technical guy I talked to, down plays it and makes it look simple. After you submit everything they needed they pile on a bunch of paper work on you. Then after another round of submitting what they needed, they just delete the application with no reason and no refund. I’m pretty sure i have to start at square one again and go through another hell with them.

There's a good bunch of hard working people in this office, dedicated to the safety of the greater Winnipeg community

IF YOU ARE COMING HERE FOR PERMITS OR ANY CITY RELATED WORK. SAVE YOUR TIME AND DONT COME. ONLY EMAIL OR PHONE CALL. People are not usefull here, lots of tax money are being waste. I didn't get ANY helpful information

Don’t bother.. the most useless Costner service this people have. They never answer their phone in regards of permits&inspections… this building should be demolished with the people in it

You request for the inspection and they take forever. That's a sign city needs more employee. Inspectors provide limited information because of that I had wait additional week to get this one thing inspected. It's always one thing after another with these people. My recommendation for people who are doing a small project. Don't bother getting the permit. These maniacs will delay it by atleast bouble the time.

Called this place many times..only desk that picks up is the kind man who takes payments.

I have called the office, I have emailed them and I don't get no response. What do we do then? Just go ahead and go without a permit?

Called several times and they never pick up the phone. So I had to go to DT just to book an appointment to see the zoning officer next time.......
