What an absolutely great butcher shop! The way their meat is cut and displayed is really fantastic! It is so worth checking out! They also have a few other things for sale like spices and sauces etc., you won’t be disappointed if you stop in here.

Great butcher shop in the heart of Oliver! They offer high quality meats in addition to a well curated collection of specialty items that are difficult to find elsewhere in the area. Prices are fair for the quality. The owners have also done a great job honoring the history of the building they're in. Thanks Black Sage!

We highly recommend this shop if you're looking for a great selection of quality meats. We were in town glamping for a couple nights & bought some rib eye, filet tenderloin, frozen shrimp, compound butter. Our dinner was outstanding so we went back the next day & bought Maui beef skewers & black truffle chips. So delicious! We'd be remised if we didn't mention the awesome service we received. We will definitely be back when in town!

Black Sage Butcher
So sad that I don't live in Oliver! This butcher is fantastic. We enjoyed dry-aged hatchet steak, lamb and a piece of melt-in-the-mouth tenderloin on a recent trip to the Okanagan. I think it is the best butcher I've ever been to, the quality is excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also thought the prices were quite reasonable - I am sure I would have paid 1/3 more on Vancouver Island.

I am so impressed with Black Sage Butcher. We are lucky to have a quality focused, locally owned boutique shop like this in the South Okanagan. We tried an assortment of their hand made sausages on the BBQ and they were absolutely delicious. We had fun pairing with our wines and we think the Syrah was the best on this round. Can't wait to try more!

We were staying in Osoyoos and heard of Black Sage and decided to drive to Oliver to check it out. Matt and Ravina and Co. We’re fantastic and had a great selection of meats and “fixin’s”. They were tremendously helpful and knowledgeable and we walked away with a cooler full of delicious treats to bring home to Vancouver. I highly recommend you stop by and see the selection and experience the wonderful proprietors! Yummy!

Every time we’re in Oliver we stop by and stock up. Try the duck confit from the freezer. Just heat and serve. Couldn’t be easier- amazing taste!

Black Sage Butcher
We discovered BSB several months ago and we are hooked! Conveniently located in downtown Oliver, this super clean and organized shop is jam packed with a variety of exceptional meats, seafood, heat and serve meals as well as many little extras. Ravina, Matt and Tim are always happy to answer questions and offer cooking tips. We especially love their scrumptious sausages, beautiful steaks and lamb meatballs. Oh, and the duck confit (freezer section) is deeelicious! I also like that my receipts are text to me, makes for easy reference.Check them out!

What a GEM ! we were staying in Osoyoos in an Airbnb and wanted to bbq one night - we looked online to see that Black Sage Butchers had a fab rating - the meat was totally outstanding and it was nice talking to Brit owner ! as we are Brits ourselves :) We tried the English Cumberland Sausages and some marinated pork chops - absolutely outstanding ! This is back in August ! sorry for the delay in sending the review, but we did promise to do one ! I only wish I could have bought more ! keep up the good work, your produce is epic !
