Haven’t tried the food yet but walked in to pick up an uber eats order and told them my name. Then some angry dude just berated me for customers giving wrong names and went on a huge rant as if I was the one who was giving a false name. Don’t take out your problem with some customers on someone random who you don’t even know. No hi no hello just screamed right from the get go at me about needing driver licenses and people giving wrong names as if that’s my fault telling me to look him in the eyes and being all confrontational for no reason.I’m not your pillow to cry your heart out on. Learn some respect. If you can’t learn how to behave in a civilized society without screaming at people the second you meet them then stay at home and get help. Don’t take your hurt out on others who did nothing wrong to you. I really have been enjoying caribbean food lately but idk if I’ll ever come back to this place again. Never had that level of customer service before. Maybe people who don’t look a certain way are not welcome here

Ordered Saturday soup… Beef soup-1 large, 1 medium. The soup was more like bone soup. No signs of beef 1 of the 2 had a large bone only. Second soup had 1/2 a pinkie of beef. Hardly anything. Not to mention, no dumplings… ground provisions…only a couple potatoes… lots of carrots… and liquidy broth not like traditional Caribbean beef soup with body/ substance. I felt the flavour was mostly bland. On a positive note, the ackee and salt fish was decently edible. Meal was delivered warm and ready to eat.

Popped in for a coffee and food to take out. The gentleman let us taste the potato pudding cake and the rum cake before deciding. Excellent personal service....we do not live in Kitchener, but we will return next time we are in town.

This place is such a hidden gem. We’ve ordered takeout a bunch of times from here and every time we’ve walked in to order we’re always greeted with such a warm and friendly presence from the owners. The food is delicious and the prices are so reasonable. We usually order the jerk and fried chicken dinner dishes with a couple orders of spicy beef patties. The jerk chicken has the best flavour to it with the oxtail gravy on the rice and peas. The fried chicken is super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and the beef patties are excellent. The pastry is very soft and flakey and the filling is spicy and full of flavour as well. Highly recommend J&K. We’re looking forward to trying more dishes on the menu!

We just ordered this evening for the first time and had a large 100$ order and everything was incredible. All food arrived hot and was super fresh. The soup is amazing. I had yet to find a good Jamaican Restaurant in the KW area. Prices are good considering the portions are HUGE. Highly recommend, and this will definitely be one of our go to spots for take out nights!
