Wonderful staff - Great place to adopt!!

It has the same atmosphere as when I went there 20 years ago. It serves a purpose but could maybe use a more current approach according to how they conduct themselves. I think if they were more open and friendly and not so abrasive. I think the business would do better and in turn be able to help more animals instead of trying so hard not too.

Be nice if this shelter cab start selling rabbit, exotic bird, All different dogs and cats I drop off expensive per ordered dog food I asked about the Anmials there they to me that Abbotsford carry them if that the case why is this BCSPCA even in business if there carrying any animals on what they have on there bord or only show only what they do carry and nothing else

i saved a cat who had been visible to me for over a year in my alleywayHe was neutered but i had him given his shots and fed and looked after him inside very well never letting him out but with a collar and bell. Another little tabby would come through the fall and almost into winter here in Hope on my porch I worried the weather was getting bad and thought she lived behind me in the house which was For Sale Turned out she lived next door to that one in that house that was sold and the cat left behind..I found this out much later The night I was sitting here happy Id called a rescue who took her the night we got our first big winter snowfal there was a loud knock at my door A cop asked if i knew about her i told him I d given her to the rescue woman and wondered with trepidatin why the Police were involved Turned out that the cat had a tattoo and the SPCA has a rule that if a cat is found with a tattoo they send a cop to the rescuer" Ridiculous waste of police time ! I emailed the SPCA in Chilliwack this story but have yet to hear from them Is it a covid problem i would like them to change this stupid policy The cop would too.I showed him my saved ginger but he pessimistically decidd that I am an old woman cat snatcher ! He said he had better things to do as well!"

Top notch facility where the staff and volunteers truely care about the animals and it shows.

It's to bad people give up their pets so these places are around but great group of women and men work there doing the best for the animals

The girl we had an experience with a while ago was rude and took our lab from us and threatened with animal abuse charge if we didn't give him to her eventhough no one called us in. They called in on our neighbors. But she drove by and seen our dogs house and said we needed to add hay and a heat lamp and a door.but it was a good dog house with walls and a roof and hay on the bottom and he had a sleeping buddy which was a stray dog which she seen and we told her it wasn't our dog which she didn't do anything about and instead took a happy dog with a family that loves him sm!! Wegot police involved after he was gone and they investigated and said it wasn't right and she wasn't allowed on our reserve without permission and we could get him back but sadly he was already rehomed!!!!
