If you’re after a real Newfoundland experience this is not the place you’re looking for. It’s clean and quiet and well located. However, there’s a strong odour of curry as soon as you enter which is not for everyone. There is no TV. Breakfast was good. Bathroom was very small. Our hosts were pleasant and helpful but neither is from Newfoundland so there wasn’t the expected local accents, charm and “Newfie humour”. Overall it was ok but we were disappointed that it didn’t have that Newfie feel to it.

Great hosts who gave us local tips on what to see and do and werre very friendly. The breakfast was the best we had on our three-week long vacation on Newfoundland! Room was tidy and clean.

Excellent B&B with one of the best breakfasts we've had in NL. Very friendly and lovely hosts, comfortable rooms, decent bed. Located on walking distance from puffin watch site and some great hikes.

The whole place had a very distinctive unpleasant odd odour.Also and worst of all there were bed bugs in my bed. As well the bed was saggy and very uncomfortable. Would definitely not recommend this place. For what you got the price was outrageous .

My husband and I loved our time with Maila and Rashid. Their home had a warm and inviting cottage feel to it. The house was very clean and close to everything in Elliston. They were helpful with all our questions and called Nanny's to see if they had time for us to have dinner. Breakfast was awesome with a lot of choices. Later you could hear laughter as they joked around with other guests. Hoping to stay there again in the future.

The room was not huge and it's adequate for a couple. The shower might be a bit small for some folks but it was okay for us. Breakfast was a simple muffin with coffee/tea. Perfect location for those who wants to be close to the puffin viewing site and Bonavista.

We stayed there for one night on a family vacation. We arrived late as we had other things to do in the evening and then the drive to get there. Upon arrival we were told that we were very disrespectful of other along with our courtesy was dropped by the weighside. The shower in our room was full of little black flies in which we did use for that reason. For breakfast we were served blueberry muffins with no alternate choice. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very expensive.

I was at the Meems B&B last september with my daughter. the room is super nice with nice coloured curtains and bedspread. and the painting on the wall, wow. We also took the supper at this place and it was one of our best in Newfoundland in 10 days. Very nice couple with whom we spoke and laugh. I hope to see them back one day. really enjoyed our stay.

The common space for guests was limited. The hosts are clearly not invested in making their B&B guest comfortable. Breakfast was non-existent due to the cramped breakfast area and covid". Had no issues getting breakfast at any other B&B in the 25 days I spent in NL."

Such a sweet host! Nice couple~ if you want to see the Sunrise and sunset at Puffin viewing site, it’s so convenient and easy to get there(5 mins drive).we have breakfast with coffee/tea/juice with fresh made muffins, eggs and beans! We supposed to live in another town but it’s too late to drive, just booked this B&B at the last minute, so lucky meet them and have a great stay:)
