The best butter tarts I have ever eaten.Made the mistake of only getting one.That made me sadWe took some cheese buns that were absolutely fresh and coffee that was hot and freshly made.We will be back!!!!

You have to try this place! Tarts here, are made by angels! Super delicious. I tried each and every variety they had. It was heaven!

Seriously seriously delicious butter tarts! They do sell out early though so have a back up plan. Lots of other choices, but the butter tarts! So good

To be honest, I only stopped here because I was sleepy and needed to pull off the road. I entered with the intention of only getting coffee and instead walked out with 6 butter tarts, 1 cinnamon bun and 1 bakery item that was described as a cinnamon bun on steroids. Picture a cinnamon bun with cherries and other things too tasty to recall.First, the butter tarts are really that damn good. I am serious when I say they may be the best butter tarts I have ever eaten in my existence. Better than the best butter tarts that the great bakery shops of Toronto has to offer. I already saved this bakery in my Google Maps favourites.The cinnamon bun was good but I think it would have been better warmed up instead of cold. I did eventually eat the cinnamon bun on steroids and heating it up this time really made a difference. It turned something good to something awesome.I also have to mention how gracious the hosts were. They took the time to explain to me what they were known for (butter tarts) and even offered to warm up my cinnamon bun for the road. Thank you ladies!

Stopped for lunch yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised with the wonderful selection of lunch items and incredible baked goods. Sandwiches, Chili, Scottish and Jamaican style meat pies, pizza, ice cream, etc. Tried one of the famous butter tarts and it was so good I bought a box of baking to take away. Plan to stop again today on the way back to buy some meat pies to take home. Limited indoor seating, but a large deck - I much prefer this local enterprise to other options on the highway.

Fresh and delicious! Stopped in for a coffee and left with an apple blossom tart and a cinnamon bun. The owner insisted on adding fresh whipped cream to the tart and fresh icing drizzle to the cinnamon bun. It was the right call - tasted amazing! Will definitely be back!

We stopped in for the first time today. Very friendly staff and superb, delicious selection. We tried a variety of butter tarts, and rated them 9-9.5/10! They were hands down some of the best butter tarts we've tried in all of eastern ON. Since we fish in the area, we'll be back many times this summer and fall.

Very good coffee, lovely ladies and according to my husband the BEST Chelsea bun he's ever had!!Lovey to sit outside and have a Kawartha Ice cream too!!Good thing we do not live close because we'd be there every day.
