Allstate Insurance: Halifax Agency

As a newcomer, Allstate was the only insurance company who considered my 23 years driving experience outside Canada. I dealt with one of their business development agents (Jun) who was very supportive and helped me not only to choose the right policy, but also explained how insurance works in Canada

We had a claim for the recent mandatory evacuation due to fires. While the experience of being evacuated was very stressful, the way our claim was handled by our insurance company was top notch and thorough. The expenses we accrued were reimbursed immediately and all of our needs were taken care of in a very timely and professional manner

Have been with Allstate almost 8 years, nothing but great personal service! The claims service is fast and efficient.The last claim for a flooded basement was exceptionally dealt with! Someone showed up from the restoration that night at 11pm and the work was done and claim closed in less than 2 weeks! Right before Christmas as well.

It’s such a pleasure doing business with someone who knows their job and makes a personal connection with their clients. I would recommend Julie to anyone needing insurance without hesitation.

Honestly the worst company to deal with, rates are high, customer service is rude and condescending. They do not value their customers. It was a good company 10 years ago ….went downhill. We canceled our 2 car and home policy and they gave no care whatsoever. I would suggest shopping around before considering them.

Despite having been a customer for over 20 years, and having left numerous messages, NO ONE would return my call when I tried for over a month to contact that office. Finally resolved by a competent professional in head office. High prices, bad service, good bye.

Been with this insurance company for a few years now, no accidents, tickets, etc and barely drive the car and every year it gets more expensive. The agent I deal with didn't care and spoke over me once I asked about leaving and going to another company. No good answer and my agent was quite rude so we will definitely be leaving this company that only care about your money once our policy is up. There is better and cheaper insurance out there and companies that will care. Horrible service when in these times, service should be great! Zero stars or minus 100 stars if possible. This company treats people horribly and DO NOT deserve business from anyone in my opinion. My agent should be fired!!

Don't waste your time. They give nice quotes but then will change everything right before you sign, even after you already sent all your information and agree to terms. Not very professional.
