Just visited this location this morning. We went in around 12 noon and the owner said the store wasn't quite open yet until 1230pm.My impression of the store it's very small and very small selective items on the menu.It's pricy for what it was. I order the cake Machi slice cake and wanted durian but it wasn't ready. So I settled for mango version it was ok. It was super spectacular it tasted like t and t mango mouse cake. This cake has very few mangoes and heavy on the whipping cream side. $8+tax is heavy for a very small slice of cake. I can get a whole one at T and T for like $32. I will give this place another try for their other items on the menu.I will update my review once I come back for the durian version.

I bought a Chocolate cake roll and a Taro pork floss cake today. The cakes taste so yummy. I love them. I will definitely come to buy them again.

This store disappointed many customers! The owner should really update your google map profile to say “store closed” because it’s never open! I came and checked twice to get some desserts but it all ended up with a closed store.

This has been a frequent place for me and my family since we found it. The store has both Chinese and western pastries. Everything is freshly made everyday, tasty and great quality. Highly recommend if you want some sweets and try something different!

I can't be happier that Savory n' Sweet opened in Oakville so conveniently located close to the GO station. Chinese steamed Bao and noodles are my all-time favorites, Savory n' Sweet makes the best of them! It is so fresh and yummy, we can order online or just walk in; every time when I come to pick up the food, the steamed Bao is warm and soft, I can't wait but always have a bite in my car! Their braised beef and cold noodles taste amazing too! They also have many kinds of delicious desserts and cakes. Not too sweet or heavy, even my daughter who cares a lot about calorie can handle a slice without feeling guilty. We really love this store. Strongly recommend!!!

Best Chinese Steamed Buns. I was lucky they had vegatable buns, and it's the best I can tell. The owner said they make fresh ones everytime and they are hand made ones, I guess that makes it outstand over others.

I came to it days ago by accident. It's near Oakville Go. It surprised me. The taste of cakes and steamed buns are the best ever. They were prepared with great care and attention to detail. Keep on going. I will recommend it strongly to my friends.

Savory n' Sweet Food
One of my favorite stores to stop by. Their cakes are not very heavy but soooo yum. I really like their tiramisu and sesame cake roll, their chicken with glutinous rice and layered pork pie taste great! Big size and so easy for my family dinner, especially in the weekend. My Chinese stomach has been rescued! Thanks to Savory n sweet!
