Between not doing their job like booking seats, no emergency contacts and horrid response times. I've lost over $6000 dollars on a trip to Japan that could have all been refunded had my travel mates not made the mistake of chosing Verona Travel.I strongly advise to book your own itenerary through your airline, the representatives don't take responsibility for their actions when the ball is dropped. Needless to say this horrible experience has been reported to TICO and my travel mates will be reviewing your terrible business as well, as it was their wedding you ruined.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS ORGANIZATION****I had purchased a flight to MIA during COVID. Air Canada sent me documentation in writing advising me to contact my original place of purchase to get a full refund. In writing, Air Canada stated that I must be refunded back to the original form of purchase. This should've been my VISA however, the owner Alfiero Cavallo refused to do so and insisted that he will only give me a credit at his organization, forcing me to have to do business with him again.Since he refused to credit back my visa, I was forced to purchase new tickets with him to use the existing credit. He over priced me on my new tickets. I was able to locate tickets much cheaper on line but unfortunately, because I had a credit with his organization, I was forced to settle with the over priced tickets. To add to this poor customer service, he pushed through this new purchase on my credit card twice. When both emailing him and speaking to him about this duplicate transaction he spoke down to me and in the end was very reluctant but to tell me he'll have his accounting department" look into it. The duplicate transaction was made on 9/2/21. Alfiero has since confirmed in writing that there was some sort of "glitch" in their system and in fact he acknowledged the duplicate transaction however

My partner and I took a trip of a lifetime to Japan for two weeks, but were so very disappointed with Verona Travel for many reasons. They did not book us seats on the 14hr flight, and did not answer their emergency phone line when we were in need of help. When we had an emergency and had to return home after the first day (of our two week trip), Verona Travel refused to answer their emergency line and help us, which led to our return tickets prices being skyrocketed because of their poor service. We still have not been refunded for this nightmare of a trip (after over a month of their bs), and their customer service has been extraordinarily AWFUL. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, I don't wish this terrible experience for anyone else.

I've used Verona travel for both personal and business. I was surprised of the overall rating but I guess the small percentage of unhappy people are the only ones taking the time to review them. So here's my fair assessment from using Verona for 5+ years.Alfie has bailed me out 3 times. Once in Europe when we were trying to get home earlier. KLM customer service couldn't do anything for me but Alfie was able to get me a flight home.Then we were late" checking in on a flight from Florida to Toronto and Air Canada had zero customer service. I couldn't get a hold of anyone from AC. Called Alfie and he arranged for a connected flight through New York which was the best available because it was Jan 2nd

I've been dealing with Verona Travel for many years and have never had a problem with them. They are very professional, attentive and friendly. Always accommodating and I get what I've asked for. Sometimes I call back to change something or ask questions and never had a problem. Highly recommend them.

Took a trip for my wedding along with two friends and my fiance. Verona booked our seats just fine but for some reason did not do so for our friends with no heads up. In the end they were stuck sitting apart for a 13 hour flight, and when we had issues on arrival we were unable to reach the emergency help line. Our friends, in the end, were forced to return to Canada from the airport which was not only a nightmare for them but really put a damper on the wedding.

We’ve used Verona travel umpteen times and finally stopped for a minute to let people know what a pleasure it is to deal with Alfie and his staff.If Google only allow 5 stars, Verona is a 6+

Alfie and staff were excellent in helping us book our first family tropical vacation. I will never book online again as they were able to get us better pricing along with the rooms we needed. They have my business for life.

Top notch experience! Alfie was super accommodating and informative when booking my trip. He definitely went above and beyond with our booking and you can tell he truly appreciates his customers. I will definitely book with him in future!

The professional team at VeronaTravelHas gone far beyond any reasonable expectations for my family on a few trips . Even Christmas Day ensuring that our Christmas dinner reservation was properly booked for us. Often situations arise unexpectedly on trips and my first call is to them for help and guidance, and they have always come thru for us.Thank you for being there, when it counted .
