Northstar Security

It was a real pleasure working with Jon and Northstar to get our home security system. We love that they are a local company and the service and personal touch is impressive. Jon is always available for a text or phone call and we were on a time crunch and our installation came together very quickly. The system itself is very user friendly and we feel very secure in our new home, and all at a very competitive price. Big thanks to Jonathan Berry and Northstar.

I am very happy with the home security system that was installed by Jon. He came to my house to install the system the day after I called him. He spent 45 minutes listening to my expectations from a security system and sharing with me his thoughts. He then installed and programmed the sensors very professionally. Without hesitation we would recommend Northstar Calgary Security Systems, associated with Liberty Security. We would give this company 6 STARS if we could. Our first contact was with Jon Berry and without rushing, he took the time to ensure we understood how a security system worked and the exact features we required for our home. Additionally, Jon followed up 1 week later to inquire if we had any questions. Due to timing, we were unable to load the Liberty app and Jon volunteered to come to our home to help. It was very time consuming for him as there was a problem with the doorbell. Actually, it was the problem of the homeowner not being technologically literate. Although Jon was running late for another meeting, he stayed to ensure everything was working correctly before he left.Our technician, Kevin, did a superior job with the installation. Very friendly and polite and ensured that we understood and were comfortable with how the system worked. He even passed on his concern to Jon that I was not home to load the App and to get comfortable with it. So very much appreciated.Many thanks to these gentlemen for a job well done.

Service was fantastic, I had just bought a house and being a single parent I needed that extra peace of mind. I had signed up with a different sercuirty company but after reading many bad reviews I cancelled the services with that company. With that being said I checked out reviews on google about liberty and seen their wasn't any bad reviews, so I checked out the website sent for a call back,within a hour I was called back. The sales person (Jon) was very informative and great at explaining my options for equipment, not even 24 hours after our conversation I had a system put in my place and I absolutely love it. Jon even came to the house after the system was put to see how everything was going, which was great, you can tell he wasn't just there to make a sale that he actually enjoys helping others.The tech that came and installed the equipment was great he took the time to explain how to use everything and I love the iPhone app for the system.The only complaint is that my daughter isn't a fan that I get a text message when the doors open hahaI highly recommend liberty they are a great company. ☺️

I have always been sceptical of alarm companies and when it came time to upgrade my system I searched the google reviews. Northstar was highly rated. My first question when I contacted Jon was “are you as good as your reviews indicate “. I am not disappointed. I am very pleased with my new system and the service I have received so far is outstanding. I attempted to upgrade my existing alarm system through the provider I had been using for years. I called two times to find out what my options would be. Both times I was put on hold for over an hour before hanging up. I would highly recommend Northstar Calgary Security.

I would definitely recommend John and his company to serve your security needs. The service was exceptional and installation quick and easy. With insurance rates on residences being an all time high, your premiums are reduced with an installation, especially with the water and temperature monitoring. I love the mobile app as well!

I don't normally write reviews but I had a fantastic experience with Northstar Security and felt that I should share it. My sales representative Jon was attentive and not pushy (I hate salespeople that use high-pressure tactics!). He discussed the system and my needs thoroughly and made it easy for me to understand and use. I love the convenience of being able to adjust my thermostat or unlock the door from my phone. I would definitely recommend him if you're looking for a straight shooter with no hidden costs or up selling. A+
