Great place for catering!! Good kitchen and easy to maneuver!

Absolutely terrible experience. Beautiful course, but who trained this staff in customer service?The Marshall drive straight to us on the first tee and started to rush us. Told us we need to maintain the pace of play. Told us when the course if free ahead we need to go right away. As he’s telling us this, there’s a group on the green and he is absolutely rushing the play. I asked him if I should’ve started to swing while they were just starting to clear the green. Absolutely ridiculous of him to rush us at this point. He also suggested that we need to have our own set of golf clubs, as sharing is strictly prohibited. I told him if this was a rule and to show us the rule book. He laughed it off and drove away.If you are a beginner be prepared to be rushed, judged and not welcome on this course, they all act like their professionals on the PGA, while the group in front of us slowed us down the entire back 9, no this group was never approached to hurry things up. They saw us as new and tried to push us to leave the course. Easy to say we will NEVER return or recommend anybody comes to this course.Trash service for a cheap course.

In great shape food is good and staff are friendly

Had a golf time for 2:09 on August 1st 2021 (18 holes) and enjoyed a good front 9 before some rain came in for about 15 mins. We decided to grab a bite to eat to wait for the rain to clear as the forecast wasent looking bad. After ordering our food and drinks we were informed about 10 mins later that they were going to be closing the course down for the rest of the night. We were informed if we wanted our raincheck on the 9 we didn't play then we would half to hurry before they close the shop down. We rushed over mid meal to grab our raincheck and asked why it got closed down as the sun is basically out in full bloom and were just told that the boss said they were closing. My question would be if the golf course is deemed closed, why would there still be golfers on the course playing a round of golf when we were told it was closed. Staff told us there were no golfers out on the course yet when we pointed out golfers clearly within eyesight we really didn't get a answer . Our group just felt a little ripped off between the closure of the course and rushed Durning the meal/beverages afterwards

The front 9 is fairly straightforward, but the back 9 is beautiful! Took longer than expected because overbooked (over 5 hours and 4 groups on 1 hole isn't great!)

Really enjoyed the course and as usual in Brantford, all the staff were excellent.Maybe the friendliest staff on any course. We were rained out after 7 holes, but no problem, gave us a rain check for 9 anytime.

Played on the long weekend- Course was fun and easy to play- slow as expected on a long weekend however its only a 3 star because after 9 holes I wanted to order a hotdog and have a drink with my parents. It was 330pm and the employee decided she would close the grill. I get its a holiday Monday, however there were still golfers who were playing and paid money to be there. Maybe they wanted to eat aswell? Just not a great experience with the F&B- would of been 5 stars if they kept the grill open! Manager should coach employees why they need to adhere to the hours of operation...otherwise close the close house in its entirety.

driving range where you get kicked out if you use driver. PLAYED THE GAME FOR OVER 50 YEARS. NEVER HEARD FHAT OND BEFORE.

Great course, sand on the greens made it really hard to judge speed. Very great looking course. I didn't have any real conversation with staff so I can't elaborate on any of the bad reviews with the staff. Other than that pace was good and I felt really relaxed on the course. Can't wait to play this one again.

First time golfing at Walter Gretzky’s (Formally known as Northridge) I have the golf passport coupon book that has a great deal for this course. 2 players $85, with a cart and 2 buckets of balls for the driving range. You can also replay the course for free walking. Without the coupon it would of been $160 (I personally wouldn’t pay that)The front 9 was very basic and straightforward. The back 9 has some awesome holes! Course conditions were pretty good. Some of the tee boxes were bad.Only real issue was the pace of play. Didn’t see one Marshall out there the entire round.Overall it was a good experience. I’ll probably come back and use the rest of my coupons.
