Julie is such an amazing doula! What a great support throughout my pregnancy and during my birth. I don't know if I could have done this without her. She is so warm and loving. She was totally calm and helpful during the birth of my little girl and helped my husband and I to feel prepared. Can't say enough good things!

Amanda and I read a great review on Julie's website from a close friend of ours, so we contacted her right away. Julie has been incredibly generous with her time and knowledge about pregnancy and birth throughout ours, giving us helpful suggestions and encouraging confidence as our big day approaches. We are looking forward to the birth of our baby are so happy that we will have Julie there to guide us through the experience.

Julie is the smartest, sweetest and most supportive human. We were given the right information at the right times during the pregnancy process. She was present for both of my partners home births. Julie was instrumental for us in becoming parents.

Julie was my doula for my second baby, who was born at home as planned. She also taught me hypnobirthing prenatally and I truly think that made a huge difference between my first and second labours - I can't recommend it enough (!!! seriously. Do the hypnobirthing.) I was able to cope with the pain so much better the second time around, and I know having her with me and having prepared so much prenatally helped immensely with that. I've been working as a midwife in this community for quite a few years and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a doula, having seen how well she connects with clients and how she supports them no matter what kind of birth experience they are looking for. She has the experience and confidence to be a terrific support in labour! But she's also just incredibly genuine and relatable which I found especially important in the postpartum period.

Julie was an amazing Doula! I can’t imagine going through this experience without her. She was so calming during the whole thing. Her support pre and post baby was great! She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she has experience. She was also a great support for my partner, and gave him the confidence he needed to support me in the ways I needed. Suvannah was so warm and easy to work with from day one. When labour day came, she was there with us every step of the way, creating a calm and supportive energy for myself and our birthing team. Our labour and delivery did not go as planned and I will never be able to express my gratitude enough for how Suvannah was able to help us pivot and make decisions for our baby, while never leaving my side and truly being in it with us for the many hours it took to bring our son into the world. It truly feels that we couldn’t have done it without her and we look forward to having her support any of our future births!

Suvannah was our doula for both of my births. She is kind, calm, caring, and well informed. She makes you feel heard and respected. Her lead up care is excellent and she always answered all our questions. I felt so supported going into my births, as did my partner. He was very nervous with our first child and Suvannah was so amazing at supporting him so he could support me. In labour, she is an absolute rock!! She had all the tips and tricks to keep me as calm and comfortable as possible. She also took some incredible labour and delivery photos that we cherish so much. My husband and I took Julie’s prenatal classes and were so happy we decided to. She is supportive of all values and morals when it comes to labour and delivery. The classes were educational and we left feeling prepared. My husband learned how he can help and support me throughout the process. We were also given a lot of amazing reference materials and she has answered questions I’ve had since the classes. Thank you Julie!

I was so grateful to have been able to have Julie by my side as my doula for my VBAC. I really needed the encouragement and support that I received from her during my labour and delivery. She kept pushing me when I felt like giving up. In addition to supporting me she was a great support for my husband as well! She provided lots of postpartum support as well! My birth experience was more than positive and empowering thanks to the help and support from Julie!

Julie was our doula when having our second child. I had no idea what qualities I was looking for in a doula when we met her but she immediately put me at ease and encouraged us to meet with multiple people so we could find a fit that worked with our family. That was one of the many ways she put our family and our needs at the centre of our care.
