Great grocery store with a nice meat section. They have a good selection of products in every other section too. The staff are friendly and helpful.

So today my mom and her service dog were REMOVED from this store and the store is claiming they do NOT have to allow a LEGALLY RECONGIZED SERVICE ANIMAL WITH HIS VEST ON in the store. I'm sorry but Service animals are FEDERALLY PROTECTED under FEDERAL LAW and it's a FELONY OFFENCE to REFUSE access to these animals and their handlers. I would like the store manager to be aware, that I'll be contacting head office for IGA as this is unacceptable behavior from the store and it's employees. And I'll be going a step further by contacting the North Island Gazette in regards to this.

Must wear masks! Staff very friendly and efficient. Very helpful! Nothing was out of stock. Very good selection of all kinds of baked goods and Chinese Food varieties! Very delicious Chinese Food must try if you go there to shop!

IGA Port McNeill is a good re-supply stop on the Inside Passage. Large deli section, vegetables, variety of shelf items. Bakery items are poor quality. We tried the focaccia bread and had to throw it away. But then again, we're measuring it against the focaccia at Gorge Harbour. Walking distance from the marina, as is just about everything.
