I swung by their store today (May 10/22) to get a frame adjustment done and it was such a pleasant experience. All 3 of the staff were friendly and helpful. They did such an awesome job making my glasses straight again, and made my day a lot better because I didn’t have luck elsewhere getting an adjustment.

Went looking to purchase 6 pairs of glasses, between myself and my two kids. Went to hakim specifically because they advertise 2 pairs of kids designer glasses from $98 and 2 pairs of adults starting at $199. The sales associate was great (Destiny), I told her I wanted 2 pairs for each kid for the $98 deal, she helped us pick out our glasses, did the measurements and everything, and then asked her coworker about how to ring up the deal for the kids glasses, and he didn't know how, so he called another store and they told him it's only certain pairs of kids glasses that qualify for the deal- ours of course were apparently not the ones that qualify. The advertisements do NOT have any stipulations saying it's only on a certain brand of kids glasses, in fact the ad says for kids designer" glasses

I get staff get busy BUT you don’t tell a customer that you will call them back in 15 minutes or even that you will call them back either way and then DON’T. I have been waiting for over a month for my glasses and that’s just ridiculous in my mind.

Not customer friendly, unless you come to buy an expensive prescription glasses cause quote that's their business"!Merchandise is completely disorganized

I'm in love with my new glasses! I went into the store not knowing what kind of frame and lenses to buy; the knowledgeable staff helped me pick out the perfect pair for my face shape and lifestyle. I'm also thankful they were so patient with me when I was browsing through their many selection of styles. (I was there for quite some time) They also let me know that they were getting a new shipment of glasses the following week, so I had put aside a few frames on my first visit and I came back to see the new shipment; I really appreciate how helpful and patient they were with me! I would definitely recommend coming to this location in the beautifully renovated section of Kildonan Place, so much to choose from and the staff are just so friendly and awesome!

Went to get new lens prescription. Not friendly at all. And when they had installed them in my frames, it felt off. I asked about the prescription part and they said it is what it is. Seriously not professional. Have to resort to my old ones and now have to wait two years so I can use my insurance again. Never again. Not a good place to go. They don’t know what they are talking about.

I would have left 0 stars but I couldn’t. Absolutely the worst product you can buy. Two years ago glasses fell apart. Still under warranty so they replaced them. Thot it was a glitch. My new glasses just fell apart one month off warranty. This is not a warranty issue but a manufacturing issue. I’ve had glasses that last for years. They will not stand behind their products. Paid around $700 for glasses that fell apart in a year. Stay far away from these people.

I was very happy for being in the good hands of Jessica who was able to satisfy us, she is very friendly and competent! I bought my first pair of glasses and Jessica helped me with a lot of patience. The hygiene measures were very respected. Well done Jessica it was a fantastic experience! Thank you for your advice and for your patience!

2 years ago I gave Hakim Kildonan a very good review. As of this weekend I will think twice. I went in to get new nose pieces. By the time I got home (45 min) drive. The screw was coming out on one nose piece. I went back the next day thinking they would fix it. No. Came home screw came out twice. Very inconvenient, not very nice. Especially when they said it was fixed. Screw too small. Does not tighten. Not impressed. I have glue on head of screw to keep it from coming out. 45 minute drive and then some. Didn’t fix problem. Glasses still sliding down my nose. Just needs correct nose pieces. Not impressed

My wife had gone into see by chance if they could fix the temples on her glasses even if she had bought them from Costco who was not able to fix them. The girl was very helpful and did this at No cost to her. Looks like her next glasses will be at hakim. Thank you so much.
