Purchased remote starter approximately 2 years ago and it's been nothing but trouble and don't start in weather colder then -15. I had purchased a Viper system and had confirmed at time of install that the appropriate wiring harness was available. Left specific instructions that I only wanted the harness used not hard wired in. When i came back to pick up my car I had a brand-new new compustar system hard wired in. The door unlock has never worked well and the remote start is very temperamental. I no longer live in Red Deer and no one want to touch the hack job installation to diagnose the issue or they are requesting outrageous amounts to trace what was done. It's going to cost me hundreds of dollars to get the system functioning properly. Not impressed especially since I was assured it would be installed correctly.

Was having issues with my Drone module, after some trouble shooting it was quickly resolved and replaced, even taking care of the switchover for me. Great communication with me through phone calls once new things were discovered and was quickly resolved. No issues since and am very happy with the service!

Just wanted to say thanks for the quick and excellent service at the Red Deer location!I had purchased a floor model mono amp from them, and all appeared well until I actually got fiddling with it. It had an issue with the input sensitivity pot. I contacted James (Red Deer Store Manager) and explained the situation.Normally with floor models, I was told I'd have to send it away for repair. But he managed to pull a replacement from another location so that I wouldn't have to wait, as I had only had the amp a week.Very happy with the service and pricing. Check them out!

Excellent excellent excellent and honest service. We were in a bind and they got us on our way. I would recommend this shop for any service they provide. Gina and James went out of their way to determine what we needed and quickly set us up with their technician, Asghar, fixed the problem quickly and professionally. All at a very reasonable price.

Got a remote start as a gift and got it installed here. And I've been having issues with my dashboard gauges freaking out ever since. Got it looked at and they charged me just to have it looked and nothing else. Go to a better auto shop and save yourself the headache and money.

Bought some equipment, installed myself, came back to ask for advice and for a tech to come out and listen to quality, was told I'd have to book it in and pay the shop rate. A few minutes out of your day wouldn't have killed ya... went to Vibe Car Audio across the street and they had no problems giving me the customer service I needed! If only I would have went to them first.

We had a command start installed in my 2008 Toyota Highlander. The service was good & the front end staff very accommodating. Unfortunately we experienced a problem with the installation. We had to re-book an appointment but we were accommodated very fast. One problem was fixed, but unfortunately we learned that with Viper our Tailgate power-lift could not be programmed in to unlock and lift. It means carrying an extra fob. (my wife requires a power tailgate due to Arthritis in the wrists). Very disappointed with the viper in this case. I certainly would have given a 5 star review except for this problem.Autotemp had another look at it. They came up with a partial solution. The tail-gate now unlocks. Still doesn't open, but I am giving another star. Autotemp did their best!

Had a great experience here 11 years ago when purchasing an Alpine marine head unit. The gentleman working the counter/showroom was knowledgeable and their pricing was fair. Decided to go back a couple of years ago to schedule my vehicle in for a remote starter install. The lady at the front desk was not pleasant to deal with in so many ways I could write a short story about her. I ended up not scheduling my vehicle in and got too busy to try anywhere else that year. Fast forward a year, I thought I’d try Autotemp again as I still liked the shop. I phoned in to schedule an install and the same woman from a year before answered the phone. After another completely fruitless encounter with this absolutely toxic human being I gave up and decided to call Vibe Car Audio across the street. They were completely painless to deal with, fair pricing and a quick, clean install to boot.If toxic lady ever gets around to reading this review. Did you figure out “the number” you needed me to find for you but couldn’t tell me what or where that number was before you hung up on me?Cheers.

Installed a viper system in my truck, it does not work and is unreliable when I have taken it back they keep saying the same thing but nothing ever changes. Asked for warranty or refund wasn’t given to me. Really disappointed in how my experience has went at auto temp. Now I have an expensive key chain...
