Guelph Music

I was very pleased to find that Guelph Music stocks potentiometers, and they even had Fender genuine parts (in this case a CTS pot). Well priced, included a drop cap and I didn't need to go the online/shipped route with Stewmac. Staff are always a pleasure to talk to and very helpful.

Just purchased a beautiful used Gibson Les Paul custom from this store. The staff were extremely accommodating, opening up the guitar so I could check out the wiring. Very personable guys who didn’t mind helping out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a small town service classic music store feel. Thank you guys for all your help, you were great to deal with!

We are lucky to have Guelph Music in the community to provide a friendly, reasonably priced alternative to the often dissatisfying Long and McQuade. I have purchased several things from this exceptional local business and have always been happy with the quality of service provided. I am impressed by their turnaround time in regards to setting up instruments, especially because finding a store that can complete this service efficiently has been a long standing problem for me. Well, not anymore. It's nice to have a reliable local music store that I can trust with all my guitar-related needs.

The staff were extremely friendly and sincere. I purchased two Seagull guitars, delivered another for sale on consignment, and another for repairs. I am as happy with the experience in the store as I am with my new guitars. Highly, highly recommend for all your musical instrument needs!

Update:The rep who I spoke to called this evening to apologize for their tone yesterday, they were not having a great day and unfortunately I was on the receiving end. We are all human and I can acknowledge that we don’t all have the best days. The shop made a real effort to make things right by looking into the set I inquired about, finding it, and honouring the price in the photo. We prefer to support small businesses and I’m really grateful they made the effort to call us and to match the impression that we had when we first visited the store months ago.———Called today to inquire about the availability of a drum kit I had taken a photo of months ago (in store) that I hoped to purchase for my daughter. When I inquired whether they still had the set, the person on the phone informed me that they still have the set and that nothing had changed, however when I mentioned the name of the set, they said that a set under that name (pearl roadshow, aqua blue glitter) didn’t exist (which is the name from the photo I took in store) and never existed (gaslighting much?) then proceeded to tell me the set im actually talking about" and which are currently available (pearl roadshow charcoal metallic) - notice the name is different

Found a pedal I had been looking for on their website. I called the store and they were very helpful, worked within my budget and shipped it out to me. Pedal was being sold as used" but arrived in mint condition and I got it for a great price. Very happy with their customer service over the phone and shipped quickly."

Great guitar shop. Just started working in Guelph and brought in my old guitar to get fixed up and now it sounds fantastic! Really good selection of gear and very reasonable prices as well! Will be back for sure.

Was told on May 25 that my strings were in stock. Today is June 12. No strings yet. Only store credit. Won't give me my money back. Won't order my strings either apparently. Shop online. Next day may not be guaranteed. But it won't take two plus weeks!!

Extremely impressed with the service at Guelph Music! They are always very friendly, helpful and professional. I took 2 of my guitars to their location for set-ups and they had them finished in one day, both times. I will definitely continue bringing my instruments to this store and will be shopping here for all my musical needs.

I was looking for a simple guitar tuner and the guy there shared my same opinion of the ones with multiple modes. I found something good and saw how it displayed. Friendly service and the store is on a rather quaint and interesting street.
