To many clients booked at the sametime or are overlapped. Yumi was working on 3 clients and forgot to cover my white hair with a dye that matched my natural hair colour after she had put the foils in for highlights. Something she has done 3 other times when I have come in. When I came back to show her, she had nothing but excuses as to why it wasn't done. Blamed me that I didn't tell her that when she started (which I did...told her I wanted highlights up to my roots...match my colour I had on my hair already (hair had grown out) and to cover my white hairs with dye to match my natural black hair). Told me she couldn't put dye on the other parts of my hair to cover the white hair because it wouldn't take colour next time it was dyed? She'd dyed it all before, and it worked...I was very confused by our conversation as she had nothing but excuses for why it was not like it always was before. I think she was distracted and had too much going on.While she was still foiling my hair, her 3 client had come in for their appointment. She missed the step of adding dye to my natural hair to cover the white hair. In the end, she said she could put black foils in to cover the white hair. If I did this then all the colour that was just put in would be gone and I would still have white hair as she couldn't cover it all and the top of my hair would be all black if she did cover the white hairs. Not what I came in for in the first place, and second, I didn't what my hair colour treated again right way after it was just coloured. It would dry my hair out and damage my hair...which she told me it would not? After arguing back and forth with her and getting nowhere, I just left. No partial refund was offered (as she'd charged me the same price for highlights and covering my white hair) no discount for next time and no apology for not doing my hair the way I had asked. Definitely will not be going back. Natasha was wonderful when she worked here! She always took the time to just pamper and do my hair only and she did a wonderful job!

Hae Joo is an amazing hair stylist. I have seen her twice now, once for a haircut and once for Korean permanent straightening. She did an amazing job both times and I will definitely keep coming back to her! :)Nov. 20/21 Update: I just wanted to add to my review and say that I had a Korean digital perm and Korean straight perm done yesterday with Haejoo and it turned out beautifully. Haejoo is very talented and I won't go to anyone other than her! :)I've added a before and after photo.

I got a perm wanted a curly perm but it did not take. Youmi redid the perm at no cost but that one did not take as well either, it gave me some body though. I recently got a cut and that was lovely. I should point out I have lots of hair and am a senior so not sure about the perm solution they used. Gave them the 5 stars because they did try to fix the problem at no cost. Everyone is friendly, clean and nice atmosphere.

I absolutely love going here. I would wager it is definitely one of, if not THE best Hair Studio for men + women in the area. Everyone is super friendly and professional. Every visit I have enjoyed and felt I have gotten stellar service. The hair stylists I have seen are all super knowledgeable on the latest fashions and I have even received mini lessons" from them on the best ways to care for / style my hair. 10/10- try them out!"

I saw the owner Youmi for a cut and style. I have very thick, long hair and normally I spend hours in the salon for a cut and style. I had a full shampoo, cut and style in just under an hour. The cut is one of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell she’s a master stylist by the reflection of her work. 10/10 can’t recommend enough!

My child used the hair salon for the first time at KAMLOOPS!I got styling from Hae Joo teacher and she is kind and talented.I have an intention to visit again.I'm satisfied:)
