Parkside Laundry

I am in the area for the summer, so I stopped by here to do some laundry.Very clean coin laundry. A lady was here doing some cleaning.There are 17 washers and 18 dryers.The washer has two sizes.$4 or $6/load.The dryer, $2 gave me 25 mins and the attendant lady said that should be enough for one load to dry.There are a change machine which takes $5/$10/$20 bills and a laundry soap Tide machine $1/Little box.There is a washroom inside the facility too. Free parking right by the door.

The laundromat itself is clean and tidy, some machinces do not run the spin cycle this can happen from time to time unfortunately.However the reason for the 3 star rating is because the owner is rude and obnoxious he needs a lesson in customer etiquette!

Basic, fairly central, easy parking,a bit dirty, on small side. $3,75 for single loads. Double load is $7.00. No attendant, just self-serve. Coin machine breaks down your change and only took coins; the bills section was broken.

Great prices, and affordable all around. I drive from Bancroft to here just to do my laundry as Bancroft has nothing there expect 1 expensive place that's not worth the time nor money there, here is way better by far... some machines however need maintence and a cleaning that should be checked or cleaned daily as 3 of the 4 washers I went to use had somones frozen fabric softer all thick gum/soap like substances stuck in each one, so i couldn't use the fabric softners.. even had 1 of the machines break on us,it kept rewashing over and over and wouldnt stop...lol , but that is nothing unusual to happen in a laundromat and the owner came down and reimbursed it so all is good and I would still come back and recommend everyone. It does however get crammed in when lots of people are there as space is limited here, I'd recomend coming during less bussy times if you have alot to do..eitherway its quick to do laundry here and prices are fair..I'll be back thanks. :)

Clean, efficient, and great location!

We are so grateful for a place to do laundry in Haliburton. It's clean, bright, there's a change machine as well as many washers and dryers. I unfortunately did experience a machine that didn't go through the entire wash cycle which left soap in our clothes as well as leaving them sopping wet as the machine didn't run through the spin cycle. I realize this can happen so I just wrung it out and spent a few extra bucks to dry it. Stuff happens and nothing can be perfect. There were a few dryers that wouldn't close and a dryer that took an extra dollar from me without giving me additional time. This wouldn't stop us from coming back in the future though.

I love the size of this place. However I constantly lose money in the washing machines so far around $10

It's terrible, machines always broken, so hot you can't breathe, they make enough, put in some A/C like others do!

Nice new machines but it would be great if there was posted hours in the Window or wall somewhere because I had 3 washers still going when all of a sudden the water shut off at 10pm which is closing time I guess so I was left with three loads of soaked ccloths and no way to finish . I never had that happen to me at any laundromat when it was closing time. Usually you can finish what you had and leave and the door locks behind you automatically . so I lost 4$ on each of the 3 loads and then hundreds of $ throwing out the soaked close that couldn't dry properly. So make sure that you have everything done way before closing or better yet don't go to the park laundry mat.
