Dino's NOFRILLS Toronto

I think this is the cleanest location a NoFrills in toronto has. Although it is relatively small you can find all the basics and to some good prices. Unlike other locations the fresh produce is usually of a very good quality and a reasonable price. Again comparing with other NoFrills at this location I do not see meat that turned black. Overall the store offers a good shopping experience. Although it is not the easiest store to shop at the prices and the cleanness makes it worthwhile.

Inconsistent quality of items, we have gotten meats that looked great on the side that was displayed and was bluish/black on the other(under)side. We also got sick from meat here. The other items are of average quality. Prices are reasonable. I'd go here only when I need to, but definitely NOT for Meats! Customer service is okay. Great parking and convenient location.

Purchased 3 pkgs of cheddar burgers for a barbecue party on June 8/23. Next day took them out to barbecue for 20 people and when one pkg was opened knew there was something wrong it was grey in colour and covered in ice - checked all three pkgs. for the Expiry date. They were all were all Sept 2022. Selling burgers that were expired 9 months ago. Sadly not the first time this has happened. Next write up is to the Health Department - BEWARE of Dinos No Frills on Avenue Road

FAIL! I require a service dog . He is small and kept in a stroller at all times. I was told to leave the store after being called sir and I am clearly a women. I offered documentation proof. The Manager refused to look at it. I was told to leave immediately. I am Autistic I cannot travel without another adult and my dog and he made me walk away from my Mother. It was a traumatizing experience.

What a horrible experience I came to this location for the first time tonight around 830 and I should’ve just went a little bit further from home and paid a little extra at Metro if I knew the cashier working would’ve been so rude. I didn’t have change for the buggies and the no-frills at Jane and Finch they will loan you one and you give it back when you leave so I asked her if I could borrow one since I had no change. Very rudely she said “yeah, we don’t do that here” I continued on with my shopping, and when I finished, I grabbed a shopping bag and as I began to scan my items she quickly came to me and almost yelled “umm you didn’t pay for that” I told her that I wasn’t finished, and that I had every intention of paying for shopping bag. When I finished with my purchase and began to move my buggy, another girl came up to me and said, did you pay for your bag? I said yes, and she ripped off the tag and walked away. What’s crazy about this is I work in the grocery industry and could never imagine treating customers the way that I was treated this evening.If you were that unhappy with your job, maybe it’s time to seek other endeavours.

Most unfriendly, unprofessional and rude staff named Rosalina(208) I had to encounter at the Cash. It was obvious their equipments were not working fast enough but no big deal, I can wait. Definitely, no need to be rude and take your frustrations on customers, just say the machines are slow and we would understand. This lady not only raised her voice in anger and pounded her keyboard and screen like a lunatic, she blamed me and my phone for not functioning. She continued with her complaining and even told me to do it myself from now on. If she's this unhappy she should address that on her own not take it out on customers. And for Dino, you should really talk to her and see if she's ok cos she's fighting with your customers in your store.

It’s a smaller No Frills so less selection and it’s in a ritzy neighborhood so the prices are higher than other No Frills. Checkout can be chaotic, often there is only one cashier running a till and the self checkouts alone.

Great food shopping experience. Wide variety in all categories. Reasonable prices. Quick checkout. Highly recommended.

This location is quite small and has limited selection. I shop almost exclusively at No Frills and find that most other locations have larger and more diverse produce sections. Conveniently there is a decent sized parking lot just off Avenue Rd. which was a pleasant surprise.

Pc Optimum Scan was down...no points. They weren't concerned or sympathetic either to anyone just hurried people and yelled not to scan points in self check out. As it interfered with other cashiers!?
