Rack Attack Vancouver

Went in with my friend to pickup his bike rack and ordered a hitch for my BMW i3 made by Eco Hitch.They were the only place in town that could order it, took a month to show up & would have had them install it without a wiring harness as it's for my bike's.It's a 2 hr job to install but the $500 quote was a lot to do this so went elsewhere & paid a fair price of $240.I'm giving 4 star rating on the ability to get the product in that I needed & price for service.Dave in Delta, BC2017 BMW i3 RexPS: I have recommended my friend with same car to connect with this store.

Have not had a good experience with this location of rack attack, mainly due to poor communication. Had brought my bike rack in to be checked for a replacement part which they said was under warranty and were going to contact Thule about. It’s been a month and a half since the initial consult. The first time, they had my information in the system from when I initially bought the rack and updated my phone number. 3 weeks later, I called for an update and they didn’t have anything in their system about the initial consult. Two weeks ago, I was told by one of their managers that a part was going to be shipped and be ready in a week. I called yesterday and they said they don’t have my updated phone number or the part under that number. I have left numerous messages over time and no one returns calls, you essentially have to call multiple times in a row and hope someone will pick up. I’m hoping this will change as I had a very positive experience with the Toronto store when I initially bought the rack but so far it’s been a frustrating communication experience and their system doesn’t seem to update contact information after numerous tries. I will say the managers I dealt with have been friendly but they don’t follow up after promising they will. Will update this review if anything changes.

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I really appreciated Dan, over the phone, explaining the benefits of Thule vs Yakima roof boxes. I went to their showroom the next day and was greeted by Sunny who ensured the proper fit when installing the box. I've also visited Rack Attack Coquitlam in the past, and their service was just as great. Thank you, Rack Attack!

Terrible experience using this Rack Attack location for the installation of a hitch on our Volvo.Beginning with poor communication on our emailed estimates which failed to include the service fee and inaccurate wait time estimates which resulted in unnecessary waiting around for the completion of the install.After returning the hour long drive home we realized the bumper wasn’t clipped in properly. Two trips later back into Rack Attack Vancouver it was revealed they “split” the bumper during install and require another separate appointment to repair their mistake, requiring yet another trip into downtown Vancouver during work hours.This has been a truly awful experience, from the estimate, install and now attempting to get them to repair our bumper- that they broke during install.Still hopeful Rack Attack will make this right after damaging our vehicle, wasting time and gas mileage by returning the install fee, throwing in a bike rack, and actually fixing our bumper!

UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was truly shocked at how Dan went above and beyond in helping us out. He took the time to listen to our needs and then narrowed down the options to make our purchase super easy. We then had a height restriction glitch for our upcoming trip and he provided us with a short term solution, while still giving us the option to obtain the system we really wanted for our next trips. We were blown away! The installation appointment was on time and helped us out with our tight timeline. Honestly, I think that Dan and his team should create a Master Class in Customer Service and Sales. I wish that every business would be as awesome as Rack Attack!

We had excellent service from this location. We went in only to get a replacement key, but the staff over the phone and in-store were great to deal with. Highly recommend!

we recently consulted Rack-Attack on 3rd in Vancouver for the installation of a rack storage system for our car. Our car had a bare roof, so we had to start from scratches. The Rack-Attack team was very helpful. From the consultant to the installers, everyone was very knowledgeable and professional. The communication was simple, the choice easy and the installation quick and perfect.

Everyone at the store is super knowledgeable, friendly and problem solvers. We recently bought a new bike rack to replace our old rusty one that was already attached to our hitch. The guys at the store was gracious and offered to put our new bike rack on for us. Little did we know that our old bike rack had a lock key that unfortunately was never given to us when we bought it almost 10 years ago. The guys at the store managed to still get it off but had to really work at it. We wouldn’t know what to do if it weren’t for them. Thank you so much for spending so much time on our car and helping us! We appreciate you all so much.

The staff at Rack Attack (both Coquitlam and Vancouver) were super friendly & knowledgeable. They helped me find the right rack for my Mach-E and our electric bikes, neither of which are easy since hitches aren't a thing" for Mach-E's and our bikes aren't your standard e-bikes.
