A top-notch performance venue that exceeded my expectations. I was an internationally touring musician for many years, and it impressed me as a space in which I would love to perform. Maple Ridge should be proud of this gem.

Son performed here through Mellado dance school and it was amazing to see him dance along with so many other performers at their recital. Highly recommend this place.

What great Venue! Very trusting with bottled drinks and glassware in the seating area. I very much liked that. Great staff and very fitting for The King show

My 4 year old daughter was treated very poorly by the “ballet” teacher Sarah McEvoy. To the extend that my daughter doesn’t want to attend ballet anymore even though she loved doing it for a year now in very good dance schools in other cities.I recommend that you take your young kids to a class to a different school or if you must go here at least try any other teacher because Sarah is not good with little kids. She doesn’t have patience as I observed her snap at a kid in class before. She is not fair and doesn’t allow all the kids to take a turn, the ballet she teaches in the 3-5 year course is actually just creative dance and jumping around, no actual ballet poses.Due to the 3-5 course being too easy for my daughter who has ballet experience, we switched to the 4-8 year program but Sarah said she only allows 5 year olds in that program and they have to be attending kindergarten. This is not what it says in registration, but apparently this teacher has too much power and decided by herself who may or may not attend a class depending on her liking. She even said that all the decisions who she will accept in the ballet class are made by her she can do whatever she wants. She excluded my child from a class she was registered in. She did this right in front of my child saying several times that she doesn’t want her in class, causing my daughter to feel sad, unwanted and unwelcome. When I raised concern about this behaviour and wrote in to Sarah’s managers she lied to them just to make sure my daughter cannot attend the class she was registered for.I’ve never experienced this kind of unprofessional treatment at a dance school before and especially to a little child. I still don’t understand why this kind of teacher is allowed to teach little kids or why this happened. I don’t know what caused her to behave this way or why she treated my child this way.

This theatre is small and very tight with barely any leg room in between rows. Other theatres definitely have more space.I was there for a dance competition and it was too packed, with a very small backstage/dressing room space. The poor dancers have to endure a tight space that became hot with all those bodies.I was in the audience with my newborn baby in a carseat on one day with no problems, going in and out of the theatre, but the next day, one of older female staff was rudely berating us that it wasn’t allowed. Jeez, like we were criminals. No one stopped me when I was there the other day. There were no signs to inform people of this rule, not even in the website. (Until after the fact)It was so disorganized. Not the ideal venue for a huge dance show with too many participants and audience.Additionally, imagine a small theatre with one small elevator space and all the audience trying to get to underground parking. Oh, and parking. Oh boy... another extremely tight space, barely enough room to open your vehicle doors.Just plan ahead considering all these tight spaces if you are going to this theatre.

Lovely theatre with clear views of stage from balcony which us nice. My only criticism is that the seat backs have absolutely no give whatsoever to them, forcing completely straight back position during show. Not the most comfortable seatsBut everything else is 100% - lovely spot
