These people were nothing but professional. I was shopping for a new fireplace, I had called someone else, after having no luck, Bas, was able to help me in a very quick and proficient manner. I had them also do a service on an existing fireplace which was done so professionally. The people who came to my home were extremely polite and courteous. We are more than satisfied with the product with this company

I've had the pleasure of dealing with Bast Home Comfort team. We wanted to add an electric fireplace to our living room for awhile and I was able to find what I wanted at their Waterloo location. Christian was really great to work with and he answered to all of my many questions and emails. The construction team was also very professional and clean, finishing my fireplace built-in in five days straight, as was promised at the initial consultation! Very impressed! They also communicated with the other trades needed to complete our project and the whole experience was really smooth and positive. I would highly recommend these guys, check them out if you're in the market for a new fireplace!Thank you Bast Home team once again and keep up the good work :)

BAST installed a beautiful gas fireplace in our century home a few years ago and the purchase and installation was professional and truly seamless. When we needed to envision a gas fireplace for the recreation room in our new home we knew BAST would handle the job. For the new install our plans had to change and Steve and Paul helped us to keep our design and vision when we learned a gas installation wasn't possible. We absolutely LOVE our double sided electric fireplaces and the new peninsula Kyle installed IS awesome!

We purchased a square Napoleon fire table from Bast Home Comfort. Bast converted it to natural gas, and assembled it. When I went to pick it up it was placed in the back of my truck with a forklift. Honestly could not have been any easier. Bast recommended a simple way to hook it up and the fire table looks great and works great!!! Matthew Bast was great to deal with and went well out of his way to make this purchase possible.

I’d have to say that dealing with Christian at Bast has been one of the best experiences I have had with a company. 100% seamless experience from picking the fireplace to having it installed. The technician Kyle WOWED us with the amazing job he did with the install while following all the proper safety procedures for COVID.Great work guys. I would highly recommend this company.

Stopped in to have a look at a Napoleon BBQ to get an idea as to what they were like and was so impressed with Matt and how he explained everything that I bought it on the spot. I'm an Executive Coach who works with and trains everyone from CSR's up to CEO's and he has what we refer to as best practices, when it comes to sales skills. I can't recommend them enough. I've had it almost two months and using it 5-6 days a week.

Had my fireplace repaired after being told by another company I needed a new one. Points for not selling me a new unit and install when it wasn't needed but also extremely helpful and courteous over the phone, tech was polite, professional, touched up the paint and knew his stuff. Couldn't be happier

Bast Home Comfort
This review is for my elderly father and in regards to Bast Home Comfort's service. My father's been using Bast for maintenance of his two gas fireplaces (both are old and neither were installed by Bast). For many years now Bast has been reliably servicing these old fireplaces and working with my father to keep them going instead of replacing them. In particular, Bast has a service tech by the name of Josh who is exceptional. I happened to be visiting my father when Josh stopped by. Cannot speak more highly of Josh, he is definitely a rare and valuable team member. While I do not have a gas fireplace myself, if I did I'd be calling Bast for service.
