MCI The Doctor's Office Main Exchange

This clinic gave me an appointment for today and sent me 5 email and text reminders for days. Now, I came for my appointment on time, and the clinic is closed. They didn’t even bother cancelling the appointment. If you’ll be closed for the day, at least cancel your appointments first, so that people don’t come all the way!

This clinic booked an appointment for me today and sent me reminders. when I arrived, the clinic was closed, and nobody took the time to cancel my appointment. I live far away and this was a waste of time and money for me. That’ s totally disrespectful and unprofessional. You cannot play with People Health like that. I will introduce a formal complaint. It’s not acceptable!

Totally unprofessional service. Never preferred to any one.Receptionist was no break and we were told to wait. Waited for more than 40 min and no one attend us or informed that they are not accepting walk in patients any more. Waste of time. No management inside the clinic. Very unprofessional behaviour.

Rude receptionist. On Google it says it open until 7. And I asked politely if they’re going to change that on their Google search and she rudely looked at me and said nothing. Don’t come here. I always have bad experiences with the receptionist. They have a few great doctors, it’s a shame that they have the worst receptionist.

I kinda understand the frustration of getting medical help in this country. But I really wanna give this place a good review from my personal experience. The staff are always nice and friendly, and they are quick to pick up their phone calls! Dr.Nevine is always busy like all other doctors but she’s very approachable and very responsible! I live a bit far from this location but I’d drive 30mins to come to this place rather than going somewhere closer. Can’t speak for all as everybody might have different experience here but a 5 star is very fair and truthful rating from me.

Went there this evening because the itchy red bumps after dinner around neck. Because it is only around neck, I am not sure this is allergy(no allergy history for food), sun burn(only 20 minutes walk in April, not much sunshine) or other causes. So I went to the clinc for doctor's advise in case it is a serious allergic incident. I arrived there around 7:30pm and have been told only doctor 'Chau' in the office and did not take any walk in. I told the nurse I just need doctor's advice for whether I need to go to hospital. Around 7:48PM, the doctor finished all his patients and nurses finally got the chance spoke to the doctor about my case. The doctor's answer was he is off at 8:00pm and has other stuff to do

I went to this clinic today and was very disappointed. The front desk and the trainees are very nice, and the waiting time is not too long. I thought it would be a pleasant consultation, but it was not the case. The doctor ended my consultation very quickly, and said that I had too many questions, and it was very difficult to prescribe a prescription. They quickly sent me away without giving me any explanation or instructions. Finally understand why the score is so bad.

The most incompetent and in deferential doctor I have ever met in my life. Getting extended blood test took a 30 minute debate where his main argument was that knowing less is something a better choice. I understand they need to write a report when they provide requisition forms but man, that’s why they get paid to to their work rather than scroll through people and charge OHIP. The most frustrating part was that he knew we were walk-in and he wouldn’t see us again and he fooled me in the end by printing the form and not putting X beside the requested blood work tests he had agreed to do. Total disrespect. Stay away.

Dr. Chu has always been good to me, but i've been trying for over a week just to make an appointment and NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE!! One day, that's understandable, more than that means you're understaffing yourself and the people with deteriorating health waiting just to be heard are the ones suffering for it.All these bad reviews about this same issue, with response from the owner or whoever about them wanting to fix it, it's not getting fixed. Do yourselves a favour and find a different doctors office this one won't give you the time of day.

I work in healthcare, so I am under no illusion how things work and how overwhelmed the system is. Our family is grateful for the care we receive and our family doctor. I just really need management to notice the one major downfall of this place. No one ever answers the phone. I know MCI has many locations, so maybe set up a call centre for all phone inquiries to streamline the process if receptionists are too busy here? I don't want to be bringing my sick children to the reception room just to have someone answer my request. I've tried the online appointment request function, which never worked. I've also tried to book online, but apparently the system can't find my family doctor or me (I sent an inquiry, so hopefully this will be resolved). Regardless, either have better phone service, or streamline online booking so patients can connect to their family physicians. Other than that, thank you for your work!
