Doula Care London

Being pregnant alone was scary but delivery was terrifying! I met Sheina at a dancing For Birth class where we bonded over the innate wisdom of the human body! After some dance classes I hired Sheina to be my Doula and together we developed a birthing plan that eased my fears and supported my ideals of delivery. My delivery when sideways three times and resulted in extended hospital time as well as an emergency cesarean and Sheina was there for every stage of it. Sheina helped my body as best as she could while being respectful of midwives and surgeons. My only regret in working with Sheina is not hiring her for postpartum care too! For any family looking for support and nurturing in unimaginable ways, I recommend her!

I follow Doula Care London on Facebook and have started attending Monday baby groups as well. These ladies are extremely knowledgeable about prenatal, birth and post partum care and issues. They are also incredibly kind and friendly.

I’m lucky enough to have Sheina and Nadine as my Doulas for this pregnancy! Since the moment we met, I felt instantly connected with this powerhouse duo!In my profession, I’m always happy to be the sounding-board and support system for my students and colleagues, but it’s such a wonderful feeling to be able to lean on them for strength and empowerment! I particularly love their info videos/Facebook posts, and find it amazing that, despite already having two children and having worked with another fabulous Doula before, I’m still able to learn so much from them.I’m incredibly grateful to have them both on this journey with me! ❤️❤️❤️

What is there not to say about sheina!? From my very first support session with her I fell in love with her compassion and genuine care for me. She is trustworthy, empathetic and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of pregnancy, birth and post birth care. When I was struggling with a pregnancy loss Sheina was there for me like nobody else and truly helped me get through the very dark feelings that came with the loss. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing support person and or doula. Nadine was a wonderful Doula! Having a traumatic birth with my 1st son and losing a daughter at 22 weeks I wanted a more one on one approach with my 3rd delivery. My husband had the flu and could come to the birth but Nadine was amazing!!! She was with me the whole time, walking the halls, timing contractions, holding my hand. I really dont know what I would have done without her. 5 stars doesnt seem like enough, highly recommend!!!!

Sheina is so wonderful! She is so kind, genuine, and down to earth. She makes you realize/understand your own potential and helps you feel powerful, in control, and at ease with the birthing process as well as the transition to motherhood.If I were to get pregnant again, I’d definitely want a doula for prenatal, natal, and postnatal help! Godsend.

Violet and I love Mondays so we can visit all the amazing moms and babies attending the new play group hosted by Doula Care London! The girls are all so wonderful, and I look forward to furthering our relationship with them!

I had the most empowering and beautiful birth thanks to Sheina at DCL. She designed a birth plan with me that fit our family and needs in a way I never thought possible. She was there for me through the pregnancy, birth and postpartum period. The support, encouragement and knowledge she demonstrated guided me through my home birth feeling safe and secure in my abilities to trust my body and intuition. Not only did she help me dance baby into birthing position while I labored she made me feel capable and safe in my journey through to the other side. She intuitively knew what I needed and how to encourage my husband to trust the process. Our sweet little 8lbs baby boy was born into my hubby's hands! After nursing baby while I delivered the placenta she held and loved him while I showered the mess away with the assistance of my midwife, tucked us all into bed cozy and safe and left when the time was right. I could go on and on about the many services and supports offered through DCL but suffice it to say if you want a birth catered to you with no judgement- only support and mother led decisions based on extensive knowledge and experience Doula Care London is for you! Worth every penny a thousand times over!! Thank you for all you did and continue to do, empowering mommas all over London Ontario to have the birth they want and support they need.

I had the divine pleasure of hiring Sheina and Nadine from Doula Care London to join my husband and myself on our pregnancy journey!! They were worth every cent, and honestly I don’t think we paid them enough for everything they did for us! These women supported us in ways I did not know I needed!
