Both P and VP are terrible. Staff is amazing, it’s unfortunate they have such pathetic admin representing the school.

I registered my daughter for the Toddler program at the new Oshawa McLaughlin location and they processed my credit card for $250. Few issues that have happened along the way but I'll focus on the main one. A few days before she was suppose to start but would have because there was a delay in them getting their licensing I sent an email to ask who would be her teacher and how many other kids in her class. They responded that she will actually be put into the Junior class room (kids aged 2.5 to 4 years old). I called them right away to see why anybody had advised me prior. I was to show up the day of and find out she would be with older kids. It's just the fact of older kids but it is the teacher student ratio. In the toddler room they have 1:5 ratio. In the Junior room they have a 1:8 ratio. Now my daughter would be with a lot more small kids tougher than her and she would have less help from a teacher. I did feel comfortable with that. They were also going to change the fee that I had to pay. I was still going to have to pay the higher toddler rate even though the teacher ratio was lower. The other kids in the Junior room would be paying less in the exact same class with the exact same attention. This made sense to me. I explained that my husband and I feel comfortable and we would be pulling her from CAS until there was a separate toddler room available for her. I asked for my $200 ($50 was a refundable fee) refund back and have been told In consultation with my executive director

I hate this school with a passion, everyday there’s something new with this school. For example I find certain kids get picked on by teachers in some situations even when it’s not their fault. I would not suggest this school for you children ever, it’s terrible and I despise it.

this school is good

This is a terrible school. They have no intervention between students being bullied. When a student does come forward with a report they end up being punished for coming forward .The one bullying gets no repruccsuon at all. I wish there was another school in the area that she could go to but there is not . This school has destroyed my daughter's love of school and I can only hope it hasn't destroyed it for her entire life. Do not send your child here if you can avoid it!

Staff has a tendency to get students in trouble 24/7. From my experiences, I was accused for a lot of things by both students AND teachers.I would not recommend this school unless you want your kids to get in trouble for doing absolutely nothing.

I am writing this review as a former student. When I attended this school my mother passed away and because of the event being highly traumatizing my family and I wished for it to be kept confidential. However, there was an art teacher here who broke that confidentiality. I am not sure if she still works here, but the incident and how it was handled has left a lasting negative impression on me and so I felt the need to leave this review to get it off of my chest.This teacher gossiped to former classmates of mine about the event and why I was not present at school. When confronted she stated they deserve to know" as told to me by a friend who was present that day. Her actions made my grief all the more unbearable and returning to school extremley difficult. I was in this school once, someone was chewing gum in class and the teacher grabbed the students head and slammed it into the desk breaking the desk in half and then did fortnite dances, take the L specifically

Pros:-School yard for recess is HUGE-Gymnasium is great-Library is great-Lots of cool events during the yearCons:-learning can be questionable if you get certain teachers-Lots of unnecessary rules on the school yard-School tends to overprice certain things during events (Pricing books 2x the normal price during the book fair)Cant really think of anything else that would apply to every student. With my experiences, I always got in trouble for unnecessary reasons and things that I never did. Certain staff tend to assume a lot of things after you spend time at the school (both good and bad ways). Most staff that didn't give a hard time to me and my fellow classmates seemed to all leave, or have been fired. The only reason why I'm giving this school 2 stars instead of 1 is because or my experiences with my classmates.OVERALL THOUGHTS:-Certain staff can make it hard for your kid/kids.-Staff tend to be soft; give you a hard time for little things, assume things about your kids.I would not recommend this school unless you HAVE to attend it.just another reminder that this is 2 stars instead of 1 because of the friends I made at this school.
