Checks all the boxes! Clean, bright, well equipped room with funky decor. Best service. Staff were exceptionally helpful, kind and just all around pleasant. Perfect location. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was above our expectations. Highly recommend this gem of a place.

Really unique hotel. Rooms are way spacier and decorated nicer than your standard hotel. Felt like your own apartment (and a good one). Great king beds, nice bathroom which has a jacuzzi.

Got the deluxe suite. Called before hand and asked if they had parking they said yes. Arrived at the hotel and was told that the valet would park my car when I asked where they said somewhere on the street. I did not use the valet service. I ended up going to an underground parking and saved 20$! The valet service is not worth it. Got to the suite, was nice. I enjoyed the spa bath. Did find some junk in the fridge. The tv stations are out of date. Had to deal with a rude neighbor partying and jumping on top of my room. The clerk was very helpfull and professional with helping me with this issue. Other than that it was okay. Was it worth paying over 300$ for a night? Nope. Will not be coming back.

I love this hotel and would return again. It is perhaps the best hotel room I've ever seen.While not downtown, this boutique hotel is very unique. I had the junior suite.The rooms are gorgeous and just very special with its unique African theme. There was even a real palm tree in my room!I used the bubbling 2 person soaking tub and enjoyed the bathrobes provided. The bathroom also has a good quality bidet.The suite also came with a kitchen and in it, was high quality Nespresso espresso coffee pod machine and a kettle for tea.Breakfast pastries and some fruit were provided in the morning and they were high quality fresh and crisp croissants.I wish I had enough time in my stay to also try out the African restaurant on the first floor for dinner which is open from 17h to 22h.

I rarely am one to write reviews but I had to for this place. I have stayed in many hotels in Montreal for business and leisurely reasons and this was by far one of the best places I've been to. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and the room we got was even more beautiful in person. Highly recommend!

Top notch service. Everyone at the hotel is friendly and welcoming. There's a great restaurant downstairs or you have many choices for dining within a short walk. Square Saint Louis is steps from the hotel and is a good place to sit and rest. Montreal's largest park is about a 20-minute walk. The rooms are comfortable and quiet.

Nice hotel in a great location. The beds are really comfortable and its nice that the rooms include a small kitchen area. The restaurant smelt delicious but it did make the whole building smell strongly of the ingredients and we found our room to be quite warm. Other than that it was a great stay!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Kutuma hotel. It was a last-minute booking because we had a terrible experience with Vrbo with a condo downtown on Crescent Street. This is a far better location to be at when visiting Montreal, the Plateau is just a wonderful, active, vibrant, and eclectic community to visit. There are great restaurants and lots of good shopping here. As for the hotel, I can’t say enough how wonderful it was to experience a very unique environment, African theme, very clean and quaint hotel. The rooms were excellent. We had a small room, but it was just perfect for the week that we spent in Montreal. The service was just amazing. Very helpful. Very accommodating. The restaurant next door ‘ Le Nil Blue’ that’s part of the hotel, but separate had exquisite Ethiopian cuisine. I highly recommend the experience good value as well. Lots of great and unique flavors, and the whole experience was just extraordinary. The service was excellent. Our waiter was Kevin and he was delightful and very helpful. The next time I visit Montreal, I will definitely book here again.Alfred

Prime location. This small hotel sits above an Ethiopian restaurant with unique food and design. The room has everything you need (including a fully stocked kitchenette). Even a small shared balcony! Exclusive toiletries of the highest quality. The only thing I was missing is heated floors. Although there is no designated parking (only valet service), my car was parked by the entrance on the parking meter spot for free over the weekend (check regs).

We stayed over Christmas for 2 nights with my partner. We were offered the best penthouse suite - very spacious , welcoming and tastefully decorated. Superb clean , service amazing , beautiful view of old city from windows. Location is great - walking distance to very nice restaurants . We were worried for the parking but its was very convenient valet service offered for our car - works even better . Very nice place to stay - definitely recommending it .
