InsureBC (Olympic Village) Insurance Services

I spoke with Amar, the branch manager, and he was very helpful in assisting me in my car insurance renewal. He was very clear in communicating my insurance plan and the best services available for my situation. I will certainly be going back for any other insurance and recommend my friends and family to do the same.

Do my insurance business here. Had some questions about crash forgiveness program. The agent said she would call ICBC and ask. Called me back and told me I wasn’t eligible for a free accident since I had claims in 2014. So I trusted them and went to friends bodyshop to get car fixed asap. Big mistake. Decided to call ICBC next morning myself after thinking it through. ICBC told me I WAS eligible for a free accident. Unfortunately it is too late to use since the body shop had already started working on my vehicle. Costing me $2k+ now when it coulda been free. I guess it’s my own fault for trusting an insurance broker. I just figured their information would be correct since this is their field but clearly not.

Went here to get advice about my car insurance after a claim. Met with Amar who is the branch manager. He was such a great and funny guy and very knowledgeable! He helped me saved over $500 on my insurance after my accident! Very pleased with his services. Thanks.

I recently reviewed my car insurance with Amar, the branch manager, and managed to save a few hundred dollars. He took the time to review both ICBC and private insurance providers to get me the best coverage and price. The store in conveniently located in the Olympic Village and is a bright and modern space. Worked with Cardia, the ICBC Broker, to cancel my old car’s plan and price a plan for my new car. She was very helpful, had a great and professional personality, and helped me understand how item-by-item changes to my plan (adding an L driver, deductible, etc.) would effect my monthly payment. Great experience; would highly recommend!

Was trying to register my vehicle here and this location kept saying I needed a specific document. After speaking with ICBC twice directly, they assured me what insureBC was asking me was not required. After a phone call with an ICBC manager, I was recommended to go to a different broker, which I did. After going to another broker, I was able to register and insure my vehicle without any issues. I don’t recommend insureBC whatsoever unless you have a cut and dry scenario. I’m giving 2 stars because the person at the location was very kind but that’s the extent of my positive interaction with them.

I went to renew my insurance, but had to pay an amount to ICBC but they could not disclose the reason. Very frustrating.

They make is nice and easy to make an insurance policy and incredibly hard to cancel. They automatically renew your policy when it’s over and you can only cancel it if you go to one of their offices in person. So if you like paying for things even after your contract is over, without being asked, go ahead!

I’ve renewed my insurance here a few times and the quality of service stuck with me enough that I picked them when trying out the new ICBC online renew option
