Le Vieux Château Restaurant
This place is recognizable and consistent. The menu is varied - in fact there are sure to be options for every taste.The service is always friendly and attentive. It’s always a bonus when a restaurant is able to serve a favourite beer of mine (Beau’s Lug Tread).The servings are plentiful and well presented. When serving fish and chips, it would be ideal to have malt vinegar.

Found this hidden gem on our way back to Ottawa from the Laurentians. Food was delicious and staff friendly and very professional. The decor is different and beautiful. Couldn't believe how special even the bathroom was.

This restaurant or Stephanie's....Le Vieux Chateau WINs for tastee food and fresh ingredients. Definitely worth trying if passing through Hawksbury. A bit pricy but well worth it.

Always ordered frog leg always got like 12 to 14 legs and the price was 22.99 now price 25.99 and only got 7 kegs veggies were hard. Rice was mushy, won't order frog legs any more, sorry, but you guys had the best frog leg from here to montreal and Ottawa. You guys excuse is all prices have gone up. Ya put up the price for frog legs and give less injustice customer service. From a customer representative officer. Thanks but no thanks

We don’t remember a restaurant with some much choices! We order a Coquille St-Jacques and a Chicken Kebab and the portions were huge and tasty for a raisonnable price.Highly recommended… if you are hungry!

First time going and it was fantastic. I took the breakfast pizza and it was amazing.We were a party of 8 and our server was absolutely wonderful.

Service and food isn't constantly great.... decided to order again after last time they mess up our order.... order a large gave us a medium and charged me for a large .... had to wait so they can make us another one..... this time food came has ordered.... went to pick up my medium pepperoni pizza and smoke meat platter smoke meat platter wasn't made yet and pizza crust was hard and cheese burnt... looked like it was a pizza that was reheated .... we are going sonewhere else next time

I remember way back when the Vieux Château was a restaurant where family used to go and you felt welcome at all time..I remember Steve & Deemos, Maria and her husband and Tony all the old employees Mario the chef that worked there for 30 years but he's not there anymore..Food is unconsistent..Their pizza changed so much.. There's unconsistency when you order pizza.. I order twice for myself if 11 years and I was so disapointed!!Their poutine is not the same anymore they changed the gravy this one is more heavy not good at all, their french fries are like costco fries disgusting. They shouldn't fix what is not broken.They should of kept same kind of decoration...I don't like the new seats it looks cold and not the same feeling when you go inside.It's not the same anymore..Not family oriented as much as when it was previously owned and food is unconsistent.

I have driven past this place hundreds of times, and tonight I finally had an opportune time to stop for a bite. I have to admit, the inside is so much nicer than the outside gives you the impression of.The menu is extensive! So much variety that I again was expecting lower quality, as it is said that a large menu often means not very good at much. But between our orders, and the others that were delivered to other tables nearby, SIMPLY WOW!My significant others lasagna was fantastic, and my meat lovers pizza was amazing! Both had so much ingredients and LOTS of cheese. I am so sorry I haven't come here long before now!Our server Stephanie was very good. Quite friendly, very attentive without being intrusive, and you can tell she is great at her job. Keep up the great work!I wholeheartedly recommended this restaurant! I honestly can't wait for the next opportunity we have to come here.
