Auberge Jeunesse QBEDS Hostel

Never though that hostels can be good in Canada, because even moderately affordable hotels are usually quite dirty and uncomfortable. The last time I enjoyed the hostel was in Europe where it's quite common and practical.Had stayed in QBEDS for a few days and found it to be just perfect in any sense - super clean, with a lot of common areas to chill in and work. Conveniently organized kitchen with a lot of fridges. Rooms were very warm even in -25 outside so even no blankets were needed.All washrooms even in the most used common areas are just spotless, I have no idea how it's possible to keep them that clean.Staff is super friendly and helpful too.Honestly, I'm already planning my next trip to Quebec just to spend a few more days there xD.A few things I would keep in mind through - you apparently need to have your own lock to user a locker, and the blinds for each bed make a lot of noise, so it's still better to use earplugs to not get awaken.

This is one of the best hostels I have slept in. While it is not the hostels fault, that people in the room may stink or be noisy, the stuff they can influence I really liked. The kitchen was very well equipped, clean and even little things like paper towels were there. The washrooms also were very clean and the shower worked perfectly.Overall the place is very functional, stylish and well kept. In case I ever sleep in a hostel again, I hope it is like this one!

Great find! It was our first time staying in a hostel and we will do it again. Visited in late December 2022, perfect spot to stay while exploring old Quebec and attending outdoor new years events (Tobaggan was great). Fantastic location, helpful staff, clean rooms and awesome common areas. We loved the hammocks and jungle spaces in particular. Thanks for a great stay.

This is definitely value for money!A great heritage building to live in .Plus, the close proximity to almost all major tourist attractions and great food joints .

This hostel is a gem. Aside from the very good price, the hostel is so far the best one that I've stayed in. Very chic common areas. I love the lazy forest and their banana themed dining room. I've read some bad reviews about the noise coming from the bars outside but noise didn't bother me at all. I stayed at the 3rd floor rooms and you can barely hear the bass beats up there. No complains at all. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. If you worry about the noise they can move you to a quieter area if possible. Location is close to all the touristy spots. Everything is within walking distance, even the VIA Rail station (about 20 mins walk).

Such a lovely place! Felt like the excellent hostels you find in Europe but rarely in Canada. Friendly service, great interior design, a nice little terrace in the front to sit and have a drink, great location. We stayed in a private double room with a bathroom, so I can't comment on the dorms, but the room we did have was great. We loved our stay. I'll definitely look into staying here again the next time I'm in Quebec city.

Amazing stay! The staff is soo helpful ! They speak both french and English! Be prepared that there is no bathroom in the room . Board games,puzzles, tv room ( no tv in the room ) a great kitchen and alots a places to sit.In all amazing ! Amazing restaurants near but do take a reservation !
