The Maxwell's Plum
Loved this place. We and members of other choirs went there after an evening at UNISON Choir Festival and had a great time. The karaoke usually finishes at 12 but he stayed an extra hour and some because we were having such a good time. So much fun and the staff is GREAT!!!!

The Maxwell’s Plum is definitely a Halifax treasure. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. The atmosphere is outstanding and the food is perfect. Hamburgers are amazing and a perfect place for Sunday breakfast.

Food and drinks were good. They were very busy, it took awhile for us to get our sharing plates, napkins and cutleries. I have to go to the serving station to get them myself.

Very enjoyable evening out. Maxwells Plum has a great pub atmosphere, food was good (they claim the best onion rings in Halifax and they might be right). They had live music on Saturday night (Keith Andrews) which was fun and you could still have a conversation while enjoying the music. Definitely go again.

Love this pub. Staff are friendly, live music ,Decent selection on tap, and food is delicious. Had the fish burger, made in house. W/ friesFries were a little over cooked, and smaller pieces but I’m sure they can easily resolve that.If you are visiting town I highly suggest stopping here.

So, first the good stuff, the order was fast and all of the accommodations on the burgers were correct. However,My burger was partially raw and had to be cooked more at home. This was pretty shocking and not very cool. It looks like it was barely cooked. The presentation on the burgers was also pretty bad. They looked like they were just thrown into the box.This is one of my favourite burger restaurant so I'm really bummed out about this.

Awesome upbeat staff and a new fresh inside The Tuesday steak dinner special looked very special , the club sandwich was underwhelming , but one of the few to serve real Fresh Cur French Fries. So hands down will return.

Went here for breakfast last week. Decent food, but a limited selection of breakfast items. I'd recommend their regular breakfast plate over the steak and eggs, which I found to be somewhat lacking in quality. Surprisingly good washrooms though for a pub.
