Cubana Restaurant Waterloo
Cubana is a great spot for delicious Cuban food, and I highly recommend the slow-cooked beef and pork served with plantain rice, plantains, and beans. It's my favorite meal there that I always come back to get, and the prices are fair for the quality and quantity of food you get. Unlike many other restaurants lately during the cost of living crises, the prices, quality, and quantity have remained roughly the same.The only downside is that this place is often very busy, and every time we went, we were seated outside where it got a bit cold as the heaters kept going off. Perhaps reserving beforehand would be a better idea. The croquettes we ordered for starters were delicious, although a bit small for the price.During happy hour, we got 2 jugs of sangria for around £21, but unfortunately, it was not what I expected. It tasted watered down from the beginning and was more reminiscent of a daiquiri rather than a Spanish-style sangria.Additionally, there only seems to be one bathroom that could be cleaner and always seems to be busy. Despite these minor issues, I still highly recommend Cubana for some unique food that's unlike anything else you'll find in London.

Great atmosphere. Delicious food. You have to try the salad. It comes with the freshest dressing that I have ever had. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic place, really love the atmosphere that they're creating, with the little tropical parasols, the paintings on the wall, the music. But then we get to the food, and that's just great. Really tasty, has the Ropa Vieja" plate and tried also the sandwich

1 star for the friendly staff and nice drinks. The food on the other hand was very disappointing and ice cold. There was also a hair inside the rice (I didn’t make a fuss because I understand these things can happen)

Popped in for a 241 cocktail on Valentine’s Day, was greeted with a complimentary refreshment. Was so excited enjoyable! Was also then offered a drinks selection. We had the strawberry daiquiri. Only was here half an hour but was lovely. Was sat next to fire which my wife’s face got very hot but equally didn’t want to complain as it was cold outside but equally a little too hot to be sat directly next to! But overall excellent service

I enjoyed the experience (my 2nd visit in over 20 years). My food was ok, however, some of us had to wait a long time, due to one of the staff forgetting our order, and when it did arrive it was lukewarm and somewhat bland. Staff were friendly which is a plus. The only downside to this was the very long queue to the toilet, which only had ONE toilet, and it stank, and the floor was covered in urine. Yuck

Hand down one of the best cubanosI have ever had. The place was packed for a 730pm reservation. Make your reservations! And be kind, the staff do their best with all the orders and tables. We had no problem like other reviews have mentioned. Plus the door guy was super cool. Highly recommended.

Ordered some snack and Sangria. The service was a bit slow even though it was very packed and busy. This place itself looks absolutely fantastic. The music is really good. The Sangria was fantastic. Came here on a Friday night. Food wasn't good at all. The chorizo was too fat and had kinda bobbles inside. The chicken wasn't all cooked through and when I ordered fried banana I thought they will offer some friend plantains. Maybe my mistake. When I ordered the bill I got an invitation to come back later to dance. Which I would have been able to do.

Walked past this restaurant with my friend and ordered some 2 for 1 cocktails during happy hour, definitely recommend them. On a side note, Emily who served us was really sweet!

Cubana Restaurant Waterloo
This place is really cool. The decoration looks authentic down to the style of chairs and tables used. The food was excellent. I have never been to Cuba so I cannot speak for the authenticity but it was certainly good. The atmosphere was also great except for the music that kept skipping.
