A Cottage & Castle Bed & Breakfast

The host, Christina made us feel very accommodated, and even brought us a hot breakfast in a basket, so cute. The room is something out of a fairytale, so luxurious and elegant. It really was like staying in a castle. We stayed in the Camelot Suite, I would say it is perfect for a romantic getaway. However, if you have small children, it is not the most childproof, so those with little ones, be careful. Overall, our stay was so magical. Thank you, Christina.

This B&B has it all! We were visiting friends in Chemainus and chose this B&B because it was close by. The weather was cold outside so we were happy to find a beautiful room that was warm and cozy with a fireplace and heavenly bedding. Our bathroom was bright and fresh with plenty of hot water. Breakfast muffins fresh baked that morning and the hostess, Christina was a delight.

What an incredible experience staying at Christina’s place. The house was super clean and the breakfast that she provided for us was delicious and healthy. We were 7 people and we all experienced a place that feels like home away from home. Great location to explore Chemainus and nearby islands. We will be very lucky if we get the chance to come back again! Thank you for everything

This is the most amazing bed and breakfast! There are unique pieces to look at everywhere and great nooks for reading, drinking coffee and visiting. The rooms are comfortable with a private bathroom in each room. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and inviting. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. Christina the host is warm, friendly and helpful. If you are on the island you must check this place out!

The Camelot Suite was so perfect for our wedding! It is a stunning space! The decor is amazing! I never knew there was such a beautiful treasure so close to home!Christina was awesome and so accommodating!We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect space for our King/Queen themed wedding… knights included! Oh… and we must not forget the princess!It was a picture perfect space for a fairy tale wedding!

This beautiful heritage home will bring you the pice and comfort for your days off at the island. But all the magic happen with the care and love from the host. We enjoy a perfect and very special weekend with her. Thanks a lot!

This was probably the nicest place my husband and I have ever stayed! After a very delayed wedding and honeymoon (we had to postpone so many times during the pandemic) we finally had a chance to get away, and with the ocean about a stone's throw away, this B&B does not disappoint. We stayed in the castle suite above the salon, and it had absolutely stunning decoration, a fireplace, two balconies, and the most luxurious tub I've ever had the chance to use! The attention to detail in the decor (including the beautiful stained glass windows) and the thoughtfulness and responsiveness of our host Christine, made this an unforgettable experience for us. And the food was impeccable, too! I highly recommend this place. The kindness we found here will not be soon forgotten. ♥️

This bed and breakfast provided exemplary service and hospitality unlike any other experience. It is a very intimate, spacious and each room is individually decorated with period furniture that fit the romantic castle theme. This BB is in a very quite neighbourhood and easy walk to the water which holds a spectacular water view. We especially enjoyed the big soaker tub and comfortable bed while watching the fire place that was enjoyable from 2 rooms. In the morning we awoke to a hot breakfast with all the fixings. Our host Christina also has a salon boutique below the castle suite. I have my reservations about going to a hair salon as I have been disappointed in the past. Christina put my mind at ease and listened to what I wanted. She gave me the best cut and style that left me feeling and looking amazing.My partner and I were very pleased with A Cottage and Castle and the night we spent there. We look forward to returning one day and recommend everyone be able to stay there at least once in there lifetime. Thank you Christina and A Cottage and Castle B&B

We had an amazing weekend at Christina's beautiful b&b! A short walk to the restaurant for dinner and an even shorter walk to the ocean and beach. Absolutely stunning! The castle suite was well stocked and very comfortable. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast Christina!

My photographer buddy, Daniel and I, rented both the beautiful royal room and cottage for the day a few years back for a full day of photo sets. The lady was absolutely lovely and accommodating, and the rooms were a dream.I'm back now to write this review because I'm considering once again renting a room for the day.Highly recommend for both models and travellers! Chemanius is a beautiful town and this piece of property is the right fit to experience it all.Edit 2022:Returned with my boyfriend for a romantic getaway. Is under new owners, still a wonderful place to stay. They offer a wonderful breakfast each morning, and with the setting, I felt like a princess. Still highly recommend
