Amazing spot just off main street. We had the veggie burger and fish tacos and both were some of the best we've had. Congrats to the folks who run it for such great service and a beautiful space. Truely a hidden gem on the South Shore.

Great food and a friendly staff. We showed up about ten minutes before they closed the kitchen and they brought us in and took orders rather than send us packing. The schnitzel was delicious and there was a good selection of local craft beer to choose from. I will definitely visit again.

Had a fantastic lunch here with my Mum last weekend. We sat on the beautiful patio enjoying the last of the summer sunshine and had the BLT sandwiches and fries; honestly one of the best I've ever had. SO. MUCH. BACON! The bartender made me a Ceaser exactly as I like them (loaded up with Worchestershire; don't judge me), which is rare to experience.The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and involved. We were very well looked after.The whole restaurant feels like such a labour of love and such a positive addition to the restaurant scene in Mahone Bay. Will definitely be back!

Just tried their new menu and it was delish! I'm super picky and everything was up to my unrealistic standards!Fried chicken sandwich was the best I've ever had and Haddock was fresh and very crispy!Friendly staff, great food, local beers and a big patio!Glad I live on the South Shore!

A great little bistro that everyone in the family loves. The kids don't deviate too far from the burgers (the meat and veggie burgers are both great), and the adults have never been disappointed in the various other things on offer, from fish tacos to the mac & cheese and the various specials (if you ever see the Korean BBQ, don't hesitate!). Awesome brunches and drinks menu too!

Stopped in randomly and we were so glad that we did. They had a high chair for our son, were very nice and friendly to him and he had a blast there. The food was fantastic and the selection of Nova Scotia beers was great. The service was fantastic and the restaurant is beautiful. We will be stopping in again for sure!

New Years Eve ... no reservations but dropped in with a dear friend to see if we could have a meal ... where do I begin!? AMAZING experience & the BEST way to celebrate the coming of 2020!! I have NEVER experienced a more welcoming engaged warm & REAL group of people ... the folks at Circa 1860 are above & beyond anything I've seen in the food industry in decades ... totally taken by them all ... how refreshing! The food was PERFECTION from beginning to end ... the decor & layout of the interior makes you feel welcome & comfortable ... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great food with friendly staff and a pleasant environment. You have the option to be seated outside as well, which is nice. The building itself is a historic home and so the atmosphere is very cozy. Food comes in very large portions for the (very affordable) prices and is always delicious!
