Below comment is straight lying. Parking is absolutely free during the day. Lake is wonderful, but even though the parking lot is huge(probably 300cars+) come here before 9:00 am to find a nice spot easily.

Way too hard to find parking on long weekends, overpriced and not fun walking all the way to your parking spot a million miles away.They charge $6 per hour, and there is nothing amazing about the lake.
